Another self entitled tourist in Kruger at a lion sighting…When cautioned about getting out of the car he pulled the middle finger accompanied by “Fck you”.Luckily he was stopped at the gate and paid R2500 fine.

I agree , to avoid head on collisions and illegal U-turns atleast . If the car going south gets a puncture it automatically goes to oncoming traffic without prevention measure

Iran rejects a temporary ceasefire and demands the following:
– A permanent end to the war on all theatres in the Middle East, including Lebanon and Gaza, with guarantees.
– Implementation of a new transit protocol that recognizes Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz and allows Iran to collect tolls.
– The lifting of economic sanctions on Iran.
– Acknowledging Iran’s right to peacefully enrich uranium as per its inherent right under the NPT and UN charter.
– The paying of reparations for economic damages suffered during the war.

@MarioNawfal Article 5 of NATO only applies when a member is attacked, not when it is the attacker. It is defensive, not a free pass for aggression. Members are not obliged to support it, imagine if you get supported 4 bullying countries u don’t like.

These aren't random countries. This is the core of the alliance.
Their reasoning is simple enough: "You didn't consult us. You started it."
For years Trump kept saying NATO only works when it's convenient.

Axios reports a two-phase deal is being negotiated through Pakistani, Egyptian, and Turkish mediators, plus direct text messages between Witkoff and Iran's FM Araghchi. Phase one: a 45-day ceasefire. Phase two: permanent end to the war. Mediators say fully reopening Hormuz and resolving the uranium question can only happen in the final deal, not upfront. Iran won't surrender its two biggest bargaining chips for a temporary pause. The core problem: Iran doesn't trust this won't be another Gaza. A ceasefire on paper that Israel ignores whenever it wants. Tehran wants guarantees the bombing actually stops and doesn't restart in 45 days. Given Israel's track record of striking through every previous diplomatic window, that fear isn't irrational. Trump told Axios directly: "There is a good chance, but if they don't make a deal, I am blowing up everything over there." The operational plan for a massive strike on Iranian civilian infrastructure is ready to go. Iran has promised to retaliate against Gulf oil and water facilities if it happens. Nobody in the Trump administration planned for Iran to shut the Strait of Hormuz. Nobody planned for sustained missile strikes on American bases across the Gulf. Nobody planned for an energy crisis. Nobody planned for Europe to look at Washington, shrug, and walk the other way.
Nobody, it turns out, planned for very much at all.
Read the accounts of how this war was decided and you are left with one deeply uncomfortable realisation: the people who launched it appear to have been genuinely surprised by almost everything that followed. The Iranians shot back. The allies didn’t show up. The oil price went vertical. All of it, apparently, news to them.
Which leaves two questions so obvious they’re almost embarrassing to ask.
What exactly did they think was going to happen?
And did anyone, in any room, at any point, think further ahead than the applause?
