@RealNateShi @NoBiscotti It puts PP in a tight spot because they used to rule in Andalusia all alone but now would be forced to join with VOX. If they do so, it's very possible it will scare people away at the national level (rightly so) thinking they may do the same to form government

***DISCLAIMER*** Primary composite data is NOT an indicator of the general election! However... this data is fun to look at! We are still waiting on a few votes from New Orleans but with Louisiana's primary we are now sitting at a D+5.2 with just over 12 Million votes cast.

@craschnet @acnewsitics @libsoftiktok it’s true that the federal judiciary isn’t elected. however, the president (who is elected by the people) nominates the justice and the senate (who also happens to be elected by the people) confirms the judge. the source of judicial power comes from democratic elections.

@craschnet @acnewsitics @libsoftiktok yeah because we elect ppl to make governmental decisions on behalf of us, genius. that is by example a representative democracy. the example of california fits more in the category of “direct democracy” because people can DIRECTLY influence policies through referenda.

@craschnet @acnewsitics @libsoftiktok our elected representatives directly vote for “federal” law. it’s democratic in the way in which we democratically elect our representatives who in turn democratically vote on whether to enact laws. that, in essence, IS democratic.

They are not the same. One is mob rule, the other is rule by law. Democracy, the people vote on laws. When was the last time you got to directly vote for "Federal" law? The founding Fathers were literally anti "Democracy" Idiot leftist try to change the context and meaning of words, but we need to stick to the original context when the Constitution was created.

I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.
