As expected, most bus routes East/ SE of Lake #Huron are CANCELED today

Modest chance at school bus cancelations tomorrow, especially rural areas just east of Lake #Huron Wind gusts of 30-40km/hr in the AM will likely lead to some blowing/ drifting snow Strongest (60-80+km/hr) wind gusts won't arrive until at least 2:00pm to 4:00pm for #Huron/ #Perth/ #Grey and #Bruce Counties, after 4:00pm for areas further east #OnWX #ONStorm

A couple days ago, Snow Squall Warnings were blanket issued and remained in effect for hours after it stopped snowing
Squalls have been impacting the Lake #Huron shoreline for over 24hrs, whiteouts reported and a highway has closed with no warnings or advisories in place
Not sure what's been going on at @environmentca the past couple months/ years, but think it's time for someone to be held accountable

Afternoon recap for the 25th/ 26th storm potential 👇
🇺🇸- furthest south (heaviest snow stays stateside
🇨🇦- furthest north (heavy snow across most of Southern #Ontario)
🇪🇺- slightly further south than the 🇪🇺 (heavy snow across most of S Ont)
At this point, I still think models adjust slightly further south in the coming days
Doesn't look like they (🇨🇦+🇪🇺) will go much further north
As of now, still going with the thoughts from this morning- accumulating snow stays south of the line 👇

Question for the Canadians and those in the northern snowy states, what's the best snowblower for a tractor? Have 2 Fendt 9XX with front 3pt/PTO and would like to get one for them for if/when we get a bad blizzard.

Barrie has likely had more than we’ve had here. A couple of the early snows there was more there than here. But we’ve had enough. Wouldn’t mind a few mm of freezing rain to lock down the snow again so it can’t blow around

Well we have some over extended staying guest after Christmas… and just like everyone running to the grocery store while the roads are open we top up with extra feed!.. Logistics is challenging around the holidays.. add in weather issues and it’s all kinds of fun!..

I have a rule of thumb that says whatever corn moisture is after 🇨🇦thanksgiving, it will give up 2 pts to get to Nov 1 and 2 pts in Nov. That’s assuming mid 20s start. Corn 30+ will do more and is worth waiting a bit. Looks pretty close again and not worth waiting for Dec harvest IMO
