It seems like the rollout of FSD v14.3.2 was stopped. In my opinion this was due to the disengagement feedback screen implementation. The biggest issue was the inclusion of and OTHER option and no inclusion of a NAVIGATION option. The screen currently does not time-out and go away unless a button is selected, and until a button is selected the map page is covered up. I don't think any screen feedback option should cover up the entire map screen ever, and without a timeout? This was confusing to me. This should be an easy thing to tweak, and @yunta_tsai did respond "noted" to a post about this too. I expect we will have a new version out very soon. @Tesla_AI

Going to have to disagree with Chris here. It’s obviously good enough, as Tesla is giving paid unsupervised rides to the public every single day. Tesla has gone from 11 supervised vehicles in Austin to over 400 between Austin and the Bay Area, with 9 unsupervised vehicles. They recently expanded the unsupervised geofence in the heart of downtown Austin (one of the most difficult places to operate in Austin). They also dropped the age from 13 to 8 with an adult, which makes me believe they’re more confident in the system overall. The stat about FSD getting in an accident every million miles is just not how statistics works. This doesn’t mean you crash every million miles; you can’t take the data and extrapolate it out, especially with something as random as accidents and crashes. My last point is that it would be irresponsible for Tesla to just launch thousands of unsupervised cars onto the road every day, even if the stats said they would hardly ever crash. There’s much more than the FSD software that goes into Robotaxi: - Logistics - Charging/cleaning - Fully integrated app - Remote support (Waymo has this too) - Local support, like managers and a team who track everything for that city, which we know Tesla hires for. There are so many factors at play that you can’t just launch tens of thousands of Robotaxis onto the road. It’s not that simple.
