“I always remind myself that you learn forever and from everyone. That is why, with everyone I meet, I try to listen with an open mind and the willingness to learn. You never know when or from whom your next great lesson will come from.” - Mike 'Coach K' Krzyzewski.
“Bad leaders see smart people as threats. Good leaders see them as force multipliers. The strongest builders don’t protect their ego — they weaponize the experience around them.” #LIFERS
Never ask for buy-in to your culture. Just execute it. Show people it works. Buy-in is a result of making people productive and delivering on what they value.
Less time demanding buy-in.
More time demonstrating value.
People will buy-in when it works. Prove that it works.

Environment can stunt you.
You probably know you can be bigger than your current tank.
Look around and position for growth...
I'm convinced that there is one skill that separates truly intelligent people from those who aren't: Listening well.
I love this idea of "being a recorder" from Rick Rubin.
Remember, the loudest person in the room is often the one with the least interesting things to say.
The pursuit of excellence drives more value than the result.
People pursuing excellence already know that. It’s the people who aren’t pursuing excellence that doubt it.
