@Mayhem4Markets We've been seeing some rotation into small caps, good sign, and stocks at lows, too many extended stocks, some bottom feeding going on. I think we are at the early bubble phase but i would love to see some solid rotation this week

Market breadth has been *extremely* narrow on this latest push higher. 🧐 > Largely driven by big tech stocks and semis that are AI beneficiaries > Leaves market more vulnerable *IF* there is a negative catalyst for AI growth/spend Narrow breadth isn't by itself a warning signal, but it can amplify downside risks as leadership is quite concentrated.

@mmonis Mix of both works well in this market, we’re in a bull market, dip buying on mtm stocks is a winning strategy. Breakouts have been choppy intraday and low follow through, let’s see if we get better linear momentum next week

@mmonis Nice names, $DRAM looks interesting, it got my attention a couple of weeks ago. $LITE and $VIAV were my dip buys, $VIAV dt only bc of earnings. I'm a sugar baby type trader but i've been adding pb to my factory recently

LT Portfolio update (This is 401k/ROTH) - Over the last few weeks, Started some positions: $AXTI, $XE, $MSTR, $DRAM Trimmed positions that are stalled or not moving - $TMDX, $HIMS Rebalancing and profit taking - $VICR, $DOCN Added to leaders on pullback: $SNDK, $AAOI , $MU. Closed some positions - where the wait was killing me $GRAB, $HROW, $TSLA and $FSLY LT portfolio - Reached breakeven in April for YTD Now at 23.9%

@TheOneLanceB I see it more as money waiting to rotate into it, follow through today/tomorrow will give some good info about the overall market i think. Taking the trade Frida with a good entry was a no brainer. It should have been on everyone's morning WL

Here are my thoughts: PROS: -Sector and market at highs -Long consolidation -History of trading well -Breaking to ATH -Volume is solid CONS: -Relatively weak and lagging behind rest of sector (other names broke out weeks ago and way more powerfully) -Consolidation could have been tighter, don’t love that final dip it had w the market -No fresh news catalyst Overall, i think it’s a setup and name that’s worth being involved in. But that first con does bother me quite a bit. IMO, the best semi setups have already ripped and this feels kinda like later-stage lagging participation. So far though, today was positive price action vs semis so certainly could start to lead but I’m weary. Notably, I’m not at all bothered by the market cap. In this current world, megacap names have proven themselves to be incredible movers. Old paradigms don’t apply. Disclosure: No position, not trading or investment advice. Are you old enough to remember living in dorm rooms with a 2-3" gap between the bottom of the door and the floor? Do you remember putting a rolled up towel at the bottom of the door so the rest of the dorm didn't know you were smoking something or other? Yes, I missed 4/20.
