The top 7 best selling consoles are literally weaker than their competitors specs wise. Nobody who's a gamer really cares about how powerful your console is if you don't have any games to play.

PS5 Emulator SharEmu Project update:
As SharpEmu continues to grow, the project is moving to a new official Discord server that will be owned and managed directly by the emulator.
This is a long-term decision to ensure the project's infrastructure grows alongside its development and remains sustainable for the future.
The current community Discord server will remain active. More information about the new official server will be shared soon.

A new survey shows Steam reviews have a big impact on game sales. According to GameDiscoverCo, 91.9% of Steam users read player reviews before buying a game, and 40.5% always check them. The survey also found that 51.1% of players are less likely to buy a game with a “Mixed” rating or worse. Players said reviews about bugs, performance and optimization are the most helpful.

@ryankurwa Not as good as a 1080p LCD.
When i tried Halo Reach going from a CRT to LCD. There were so many details i never noticed before. the scratches and wear and tare on the Spartan Armour, on the vehicles on the weapons. The detail patterns on the Covenant tech.
All invincible on CRT

@ryankurwa I can tell you as someone who saw the difference literally side by side. My 2009 LG LCD 1080p TV absolutely destroyed my CRT

@Real_Priception I can tell you for a fact any crt smokes a mid 2000s lcd any day of the week. Go plug an ogx in via component, composite whatever you want into crt and lcd, its night and day

@ryankurwa They really aren't. As someone who gamed on a CRT for half my life. The Upgrade when I went from my 480p CRT to my 1080p LCD was insane. The image was so much clearer.

@Real_Priception Not really, if you don’t have access to an OLED they are the best way to get deep blacks and older consoles look far sharper on them

The only things a CRT does better than an OLED are latency and motion.
For digital HD/4K, there is no real reason to go CRT over OLED outside of nostalgia.
Standard definition content will always look better on a CRT though because it was literally designed for its limitations.
