Apparently no one can read except the Orthodox. We post from THEIR SITES but they say, "CALL THE PRIESTS!!" They put this online and lay it out in detail to REDUCE the numerous questions and calls! If this is all "optional" as they say, then these sections on the websites wouldn't exist, especially not as detailed as this.

If tithing is an obligation- you are required to give much more than the suggested donation in this flyer. You need to give 10% gross from every paycheck.

@YoungPenitent This is correct. I read it and while I wasn’t clear on the methodology (questions asked etc) it did present the perception of those surveyed.
There is no reason for anyone to get bitter about that. The only way to change perception is to address it correctly, not melt down.
