I’m a registered Independent. About a week before the last Presidential election I received a letter from the State of Oregon telling me that I had been move to “inactive” status, even though I had been an active voter for over 3 years.
The letter directed me to a website where I could log on and confirm my information, which I did IMMEDIATELY.
I was then told that my information would take 10-14 days to be updated in the system, which meant I wasn’t going to be able to vote in that election.

She says everyone in the homeless neighborhood knows exactly who the shooter is… but no one will talk.
