Getting access to Payward's infrastructure gives @reapglobal capabilities that would have taken years to build independently, according to @darenguo, co-founder of Reap. Payward brings crypto-native B2B infrastructure across trading, custody, tokenized assets, on and off-ramps, and derivatives. These were areas Reap either had on its product roadmap or had been fielding consistent requests for from customers looking to expand their own platforms. The more immediate value is regulatory. Payward's EU and US licenses open up new geographic corridors for Reap, alongside global liquidity, custody infrastructure, and a B2B partner network at scale. Daren says building that stack from scratch would have taken years. The acquisition accelerates a set of product capabilities that Reap's customers had been requesting for a long time.

CIP Alumnus @reapglobal was recently acquired by Payward, parent company of the global digital asset exchange @krakenfx , for up to US$600 million payable in a mix of cash and Payward stock, underscoring the international recognition of HK’s technological achievements.
