@TinglyJungle Throw some achievements on these old games and you have a gold mine @NintendoAmerica
English

@acuto I’m pretty sure Hareruya just doubled all their prices for playable cards not sure why. Talking with people at the LGS it might be because they know people can’t buy from the US rn without tariffs. Prices are nowhere close to these in Canada
English

@nestapendragon The problem is there is no full art, no secret lair, no nothing…. 😔
English

@reva_mtg Shocklands feel so bad I would just build something without them! Mono red is so dope
English

My 🔥Breath of Fury🔥 artwork for the new “Back in My Day” @MTGSecretLair that is now live!
AD: Mari Hall
If I could request retro frames on every piece I do for Magic you know I would

English

@DimirUB So dope. What the fuck does this have to do with Ice Cream tho??
English

@yfcherries Instead of a hidden blade you just hit them in the back of the head with a brick
English

@fandompulse I honestly wouldn’t even care if the art was traced, I think that there is something even worse going on. I really think they threw Dan Frazier under the bus for their own lil photoshop job
English

MTG artist Donato Giancola on The One Ring stolen art scanal:
“Wizards of the Coast just released a very sorry excuse for the most important card in their upcoming Hobbit set. They just digitally sampled the previous One Ring card from the Lord of the Rings set and flipped and deleted the Elvish Runes. I doubt Dan Frasier had any real say in how this came about. So much for the One Ring being unique. Welcome to Wizards of the Coast’s Digital Only Universes Beyond, photocopied art.”
Does Wizards need to do more to assure Magic: The Gathering fans their art isn't traced?

@Feathring1 @dahllia_mtg Who knows what’s going on rn, that man is 80, and the drama is only a couple days old. We will see how this plays out
English

@RectangleStonks @dahllia_mtg If they were lying Dan could easily refute it. So either he's helping them cover up plagiarism, or he actually did do it. Neither is a good look.
English

I'm inclined to believe something like this is true.
Imo the art is so obviously and lazily copied that I can't imagine an artist of Frazier's caliber or reputation could ever submit it with a straight face.
Moreover, if WOTC wasn't responsible they would never defend this

conspiracy theory time: #MagictheGathering controversy over stolen art being used on the new printing of the one ring. but look at the background how it matches with several other cards he has done (but not the ring) and its zoomed in
English

@Rarian_92 @Xedd_Xanthos @EisenherzMTG Maybe, but looking at the FB discourse there is more to the story. Plus WOTC does not have a great track record of telling the truth. I would argue they do have a track record of using drama as some kind of free publicity.
English

@Xedd_Xanthos @EisenherzMTG Maybe because this is a legendary artist and a household name so they treated him with more respect?
English

@BeguiledGamer Because Magic has a game you can play with the cards
English

It’s always funny how Magic is basically never included in this because no one gives a single fuck about slabs in this community.
Angelo@angelodotsui
coolkicks announced that they’re going to start buying and selling pokemon cards almost every sneakerhead has jumped into the hobby
English

@wizards_magic If there’s one thing we will never get from WOTC it’s the truth. Anyone who is on Facebook knows there’s a lot more to the story. Still just free advertising for Magic. We are all gonna buy up The Hobbit regardless
English

@VitoComedy “Scalper era”… u mean people want the cards now 😂
