I spent the past few days in Washington with @hyperliquidpc meeting with policymakers during the historic advancement of the Clarity Act. We discussed Hyperliquid, the benefits that it offers to American consumers, and the regulatory path to bring onchain derivatives markets into the United States. Some conversations were technical with an impressive baseline understanding of Hyperliquid. Discussions included how onchain trading is a financial innovation that has clear global user demand. Other conversations focused more on a first principles introduction to defi and the promise of onchain markets. It was encouraging to see bipartisan support for thoughtful regulation of crypto. I look forward to continuing discussions in DC and working hard to make American access to Hyperliquid a reality.

2/ About half a year ago we tried HFT on Bitget and quickly noticed their matching engine is dishonest. I'll give specific examples later in the thread. I later learned from an ex-Bitget team member that they handled retail taker flow by just B-Booking through an internal desk.

🚨 The $HYPE ETF from @Bitwise is now LIVE.
• 100% direct spot $HYPE exposure.
• First ETF to handle staking internally instead of delegating it to a third party.

I’m so fucking proud of this team. They took an extraordinarily difficult technical swing with wafer-scale and connected on the first try. Then they spent years grinding through packaging, cooling, compilers, frameworks, early customers, and everything else required to turn a technical breakthrough into a real company — swinging and missing and learning and trying again. Most importantly, they stayed clear-eyed about what they had (a technical marvel) and what they didn’t (enough advantage in training), saw the opportunity emerging in inference, and adapted. That kind of persistence — not to be confused with stubbornness — is incredibly hard to describe, but absolutely essential in the unstable substrate of AI. The requirements of AI today will not be the requirements of AI tomorrow. But this team will keep figuring it out. And I’m here for it.

@HyperliquidX มี US Spot ETF ตัวแรกแล้ว -> 21Shares THYP เปิดเทรดบน Nasdaq ตั้งแต่ 12 พฤษภาที่ผ่านมา
วันแรกที่เปิดเทรด THYP ทำ Volume ไปได้ ~$1.8m มี Net Inflow ราว $1.2m ซึ่ง James Seyffart นักวิเคราะห์ ETF จาก Bloomberg ให้คอมเมนต์ว่า "Very Very Solid" และดีกว่าค่าเฉลี่ย ETF ตัวใหม่ทั่วไปที่เพิ่งเปิดตัว
ตอนนี้ AUM ขยับขึ้นมาที่ราว $8.5m แล้ว สะท้อนว่ามีเงินไหลเข้าต่อเนื่อง ไม่ใช่แค่กระแสวันแรกแล้วแผ่ว
จุดที่น่าสนใจของ THYP คือถือ Spot HYPE จริง รองรับ Staking ในบางส่วนของ holdings และ Management Fee แค่ 0.30%
รวมถึง Bitwise เตรียมเปิด BHYP บน NYSE วันนี้ (15 พ.ค.) ส่วน Grayscale ก็รอไฟเขียวอยู่ แปลว่ากำลังจะมีการแข่งกันของ HYPE ETF หลายเจ้าในเวลาไล่เลี่ยกัน
เมื่อวาน 14 May ราคา HYPE ดีดวันเดียว ~15% แท่งมหัศจรรย์ ซึ่งคาดว่ามาจาก Inflow ETF ด้วย

at @legendtrade we just did:
1. got into top 10 builder code volume projects
2. as much 24hr volume as metamask
3. double Liquid app volume
4. 1/5 of Phantom volume
5. our users are MORE PROFITABLE than Liquid, and just about as profitable as BasedOne users
with no points or incentives, while in Alpha state with a TestFlight iOS app, in a bit over 1month.
the demand for social perps I'd estimate is <1% than what is shown here. Cannot wait to ship the features and products we have been building internally...
