@SinisterOyster1 @mooreslawisdead Unless they absolutely couldn't get out of their contracts with say AMD, this is obviously been terribly handled. SUch as not locking down RAM supply early. I love valve. My steam account dates back to HL2 launch. But this is not good.

Okay I get that Valve. Just one thing, why are you charging publishers 30 percent on Steam for selling games, and making cash on loot boxes etc You can't even say Sony are selling peripherals as an extra, because Valve are selling controllers separately too

@SinisterOyster1 @mooreslawisdead As for 'surprised' I wouldn't say I'm surprised by the price. But I am disappointed. And I'm more disappointed by Valve doing last minute stuff like a single memory stick, no bundled controller etc.

@SinisterOyster1 @mooreslawisdead Well, I didn't leak anything about the steam machine from what I remember. But I also do hardware reviews too (especially with my second channel). I don't believe this is good value for money, and I think with my audience I need to be honest about that

@PMS_Jordan It's really interesting to read over Valve's interviews and statements on the situation. You can pretty much tell they knew the hardware wasn't going to meet expectations. Well, I mean if you expected the hardware to be bad then I guess it did.

He's top leaker currently. Years ago I've bought AM5 mobo because MLID said it's going to live long - now it's projected 2035

The Steam Machine having a single stick of RAM due to shortages is pretty hilarious. However, the CPU and the rest of the hardware are so slow that it doesn't make a noticeable difference. It goes from piece of crap to marginally bigger piece of crap.
