Artist: “They’ll be dark at first, fade in two weeks.” Reveal hits. Her reaction: “WHAT THE #%*?! Is this a joke?!” “You can’t fix them… it’s TATTOOED ON MY FACE.” She stormed out and refused to pay. Those thick blocky brows are permanently Sharpie’d on. Never let anyone tattoo your face for “convenience.” 🙄

This guy used a car jack to lift an entire sidewalk and injected polyurethane underneath to stabilize and level it. This type of job can cost all the way up to $25 a square foot. But….. hear me out here, what if we just kept the jack in the ground and buried the $50-$100 jack right where it’s at? Wouldn’t that save a ton of money? Could it work? Would it work?

I’m not a Hartzell fan (policy wise. Seems like a nice enough guy on my personal interactions.) …. He’s like a broken clock, right twice a day, mostly by accident. But at least he’s consistent, in some respects. Super Liberals who want to stick it to the billionaires, but use iPhones, Macs, drink Starbucks and love stadium subsidies, at the expense of the taxpayer, are arguably the biggest hypocrites out there.

Your reminder as to why KC voters aren't being allowed to vote on the Royals stadium plan. Elected representatives already know their constituents oppose it. But local leaders want it (and the perks that go with it), and they want taxpayers to pay for their luxury play palace.

1. Why was the Parks Board involved in this last week? 2. The whole point of using Wash Pk was availability of full increment. The park pays $0 tax now. All taxes at stadium are available. Crown Center pays taxes. They would come off the books, meaning higher net loss to city

@pgrathoff First of all, they don't need a new stadium. Second, the infrastructure (traffic flow, parking, etc.) is not good in that area or anywhere else near downtown.
