@OWS1892 @LloydGeorge57 A shoplifter was recently summarily executed. Maybe that’s the solution.

Sadio Mané reportedly earns approximately $43 million a year, yet he surprised fans when he was spotted using a cracked iPhone 11 that was held together with tape. The moment went viral and left many people stunned. When asked about it, his response was incredible
“Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches, and two jet planes? I starved, I worked in the fields, played barefoot, and I didn’t go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. I have built schools and a stadium, provide clothes, shoes, and food for people in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people from a very poor Senegalese region in order to contribute to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips, and even planes. I prefer that my people receive some of what life has given me.”
He then said the phone was a gift from his friend, emphasising his values over material display

At Saturday’s far-right Unite the Kingdom rally, not everyone who took to the stage had pitch-perfect messaging.
Among the worst offenders was Christian nationalist pastor Rikki Doolan, whose rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone has drawn ridicule.
Doolan is no stranger to the spotlight; he was featured in an Al Jazeera exposé on a money laundering operation in Zimbabwe.
Doolan claims the video of his singing has been doctored by AI. He has threatened to launch a defamation claim against Piers Morgan, who called the performance “the least talented singing we’ve heard on these isles”.

@0Calamity But you must have laughed when those abusive comments made the ballot paper ‘spoilt’ so they didn’t count?
English

From a local FB page.
People like Reform because it has finally given them permission to express their racist hatred openly. 😢

I have been an election agent for the Labour Party in Crawley for 8 years Yesterday, for the first time ever, I cried at a count. Was it because we'd lost a lot of seats, because we had? No. I cried because a very hard working, dedicated, British born Councillor of Pakistani descent had the word "deport' written next to her name on a ballot paper with a Reform vote. When the doubtful papers were shown to candidates and agents, I challenged the Reform agent to disown the vote and he refused.
I saw a number of other ballot papers with racist, islamophobic and antisemitic comments. I'm used to the abusive comments about parties and policies on papers, we tend to have a laugh with them. I'm also used to the many pictures of penises on ballot papers (you guys are all so original), but I haven't seen so much hatred written on ballot papers. What are we becoming as a country? Why do people feel emboldened to put their hatred out there? It's vile.

@revoltinghippie @ZoeJardiniere @motownegan The repeated invasion of Afghanistan was known by the imperialists as ‘The Great Game’.
English

@ZoeJardiniere @motownegan I spent time in Afghanistan on the hippie trail.
The UK had already invaded Afghanistan x3 first in 1839 when we also occupied Yemen and China.
