@williamclintree @CFB_Pat The blue blood boosters have been doing it since the beginning of these sports. Tech is late to the party but early in the NIL party. That’s what everyone’s issue is and it’s laughable. Things can change. Sports would be boring AF if it was only always the same teams competing.

It’s so funny to me how people act like he must be a great person because he’s won a lot. Kim Mulkey for example is a POS but she wins, wins, wins. His ex-players know no different.

@RedRaiderGator I think if anything it ignited the Tech girls. They played pissed and it showed. They were bombing pitches after that. Nothing like a little anger transferred into competitive edge. I used to love channeling that when I played.

I think Florida trying to hit Mia Williams was not malice, but mind games. Chess, if you will. They weren't aiming to hurt, but to get in heads. Get Texas Tech upset.

@KFTX1836 @stephuf15 @Sierrajoy32 I’ve said this also. They wanna clutch pearls over her Tech teammates being pissed and saying some stuff when we could have beaned one of their players for it. That would have been the classless thing to do. Tech could have handled it so much worse. Florida handled nothing well.

1. A competitive pitch isn’t in the batters box.
2. Florida was still on the field while Tech was lining up at home plate to shake hands.
3. Florida can’t play the victim card after hitting the same player 5 times in less than 3 complete games.
In my opinion Tech was very reserved in their response. Much more than any baseball team I’ve ever seen. The 3rd HBP should have been the final straw with 72+mph going towards Florida’s best hitter the next time she walked to the plate.
Florida cannot expect the smoke but not want the fire that’s warranted behind hitting a player 5 times.

The fact that Florida thought the country would be on their side is interesting. I don’t think many actually care who won, but a team can’t “accidentally” hit the same batter five times and not expect blowback from even the most casual of fans. Also, the announcer clearly stated that Florida didn’t line up. This was a bad weekend for Florida anyway one looks at it or tries to explain it away.

An ugly scene at the end of the game. Texas Tech starts talking to the fans and making hand gestures and the teams do not shake hands. Keagan Rothrock’s dad, Greg Rothrock, was seen getting berated by a Red Raider fan at the end of the game as well.

Have truly lost respect for Tim Walton and the Florida Gator softball team! To hit a player 5 times because they transferred for a better situation is crazy! Then at the end of the game not to shake hands is poor sportsmanship ! Lil girls are watching as coaches we must lead!
