Hello @NHAIROBengaluru , Why there is no patrolling at Entry / Exit.
Where people use Exit points at Bidadi & Srirangapatna as Entry point to NH-275
You want to see more accidents on this Highway??

DFS asks PSBs and RRBs to cut costs by reducing travel and adopting EVs. Good. Now reduce the human cost too. Implement Five-Day Banking, recruit staff, ensure mandatory leave, and pay overtime. Saving money matters, but so do the lives of bank employees. #5DaysBankingNow

We Obeyed RBI Rule, Yet Skeleton Row: 'Social Media Outrage Made Us Scapegoat’ Say Odisha Grameen Bank Employees

Odisha Grameen Bank staff say they followed RBI rules, yet faced backlash and vilification, exposing pressure on bankers in the Malliposi case.

@Naveen_Odisha @nsitharaman Yes RBI should be held accountable for issuing such guidelines.

With deep anguish and urgency bring to the attention of Hon’ble Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs (@nsitharaman) ji about the shocking incident that took place on April 27th at the Malliposi branch of the Odisha Grameen Bank in Kendujhar District. A tribal citizen, Mr. Jitu Munda, was forced to exhume the skeletal remains of his sister and carry them to the bank as proof of her death in order to withdraw his rightful dues.
This followed numerous unsuccessful visits to the bank where he received no assistance or clarity from officials. What is even more shocking is the bank’s attempt to justify this inhuman conduct by citing adherence to RBI guidelines. This reflects a disturbing intent by officials to hide behind procedures and abandon the very people they are meant to serve. In a democracy, rules are meant to empower citizens, not humiliate them.
This horrifying incident has outraged public sentiment across #Odisha and has also drawn international media attention, including coverage by the New York Post and the BBC. Though isolated, this incident highlights the urgent need for a more humane banking administration, especially in remote tribal areas.
Urge Nirmala Sitharaman ji to ensure clear accountability is fixed immediately for this shocking lapse. Also urge you to send a strong signal to all rural banks to guarantee citizen-centric service delivery with empathy and compassion. I am confident that with your compassionate intervention, such inhuman treatment of citizens will not be repeated anywhere else in the country.

🚨Live example of what happens when someone dares to speak against the system.
At the 30th conference of #AIBEA (All India Bank Employees Association) a young comrade raised his voice against the retired-style leadership running the union.
He spoke an uncomfortable truth, the same leaders have been holding top positions for 15-20 years. Many of them have no real credibility left in banking, some aren’t even connected to ground staff anymore, yet they continue to sit in power indefinitely.
And what happened next?
Instead of answering the truth, the old guard resorted to shouting, intimidation, and pressure.
But shouting cannot silence the truth.
Every change begins with one voice. From there, it spreads across platforms and people.
I salute this comrade. Change will come.

🚨 Transfers + Targets + 22 Languages = Welcome to Indian Banking
Welcome to modern banking in India.
Transfer every 2–3 years… sometimes in 1 year.
New branch. New targets. New pressure.
And now new language every time.
India has 22 official languages from Hindi to Kannada to Tamil to Bengali…
And 100+ languages in reality.
So what’s the expectation?
👉 Banker today = Kannada expert
👉 Tomorrow = Tamil speaker
👉 Next year = Bengali pro
All within transfers. All under pressure.
Wow.
New rule unlocked:
“Be a banker + be a linguist + survive transfers.”
Targets same. Staff shortage same.
But expectations? Unlimited.
No training. No time. No support.
Only one thing guaranteed accountabilty.
Maybe next circular should say:
“Learn all Indian languages… or learn how to face humiliation.”
This isn’t service expectation.
This is pressure disguised as professionalism.

A woman is allegedly seen losing her cool on Maharashtra cabinet minister Girish Mahajan, over the traffic snarl caused by the BJP morcha in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. This was during a protest march on the issue of the Women's Reservation Bill. She was heard asking the minister to protest on a ground, and not hold up the traffic by marching on the streets. The opposition hit out at the BJP while appreciating the woman.
