@SuperCoachNRL How many people traded out Sam Walker and bought Boyd ?

The Bronson Xerri drama continues to bubble along, with an exit from the Bulldogs appearing inevitable, as the star centre looks to impress rival clubs while biding his time in NSW Cup 👀

@GarrickRKnight Insider chat ? More like insider spin. More truth in fairytale
English

For the love of all things holy, can we please please please get Tallis off #NRL360. We finally get Bomber Badel on there to bring some real insider chat and he gets rant-bullied by Gordy, cut off constantly and refused to let talk. Who rubber-stamps this guy getting a seat?

@RedSeas3 And IF Atkinson comes out and scores 70+ this week? Hes a hold for me but on the pine next week if he gets 30s

TLT!!! Likely team. No trades.

@SuperCoachRealm @BallrNRL I don’t think if he plays 80mins he will score under 80. He is going to be a JunkTime king.
English

Is this finally the year Cleary finishes as the top averaging SuperCoach player?
He’s been a consistent top 5 averaging player for almost his entire career, with his closest being 2023 where Hynes led at 95 and Cleary sat 2nd at 89. Always elite but never quite the top.
Penrith look back to their best and Nathan Cleary has the game on a string again. With the new rule changes, the conditions might finally be there for a league-wide ceiling season.
We’ve seen his average hit the height of 108 in 2021, is that level back on the table?

@RLSCTrotter Just a suggestion I know it cost an extra trade but I would trade Atkinson for Boyd. He could make 70 to 100k and next week trade Boyd to Cleary. Have the extra to help upgrade someone else. GL

@SuperCoachNRL MCLs are will tricky injuries. You shouldnt even try to jog until you are 100% pain free. Doing so will set the injury back.

Fletcher Sharpe looks to have failed to overcome the knee injury he sustained in Las Vegas.

🔐 LOCKOUT LOCK-IN 🔐
Ready to lock in and watch Fa’alogo score sub-40pts? Is Tino or Yeo about to tonne up for traders? Weather wise, there’s plenty of rain about so be cautious with captaincy options and reserves. Let’s lock in ⬇️
Sit v Start 🪑 Ryan Couchman, Lisati, both, neither? I might be biased but I’m taking a green tick starter reserve every day of the week. Lisati’s matchup against Riki doesn’t intimidate me, and there’s some doubt about the Dragons’ rotation with Liddle back in the picture. Chester & Faeamani should also be popular starts this week in a high scoring match.
POD Watch 📡 Will Warbrick ($413.7k, -28 BE), along with the majority of his Storm teammates, has been flying to start this season. Melbourne are scoring at will, and he’s been a beneficiary of it, already notching 2 tries. His base has been ultra impressive too, averaging 44pts in base and power. The next 2 weeks couldn’t get much better, coming up against the Broncos and then the Cowboys. There’s a world he goes 90 x 90, makes $180k, and then you could move him on before the draw tightens up (Panthers in round 5). With a plethora of options around, don’t sleep on the hulking Kiwi winger!
Late Mail ⏰ Timoko cut from the starting 19? What’re they putting in the milk in Canberra? I’ve always rated Timoko but Sasagi has absolutely burst onto the scene and locked this centre spot down. Traditionally a utility forward, Sasagi’s attacking upside and power stats make him such an easy watch and own in SuperCoach. It’s time we start taking him seriously!
Best Bets 💸 Two admins, two best bets, $10 stake/week. Luke (-$30, 0/3) is in such dire form that his ATS bet last week got Shibasaki dropped. Seriously needs a bounce back & hoping Dragons +7.5 at $1.90 can deliver it. Richard (+$7, 2/3) had to sit through a Panthers clinic to watch Sharks +8.5 go down. Titans +6.5 at $1.72 will get us back on track.

@SupercoachGuns @ask10inthebin I did the package deal. Galvin & Preston. If Galvin goes good Preston will score big. I liked the way they were building up a combination in the finals last year and we saw it on show in Las Vegas.
English

@SupercoachGuns @ask10inthebin I hope you’re right with Galvin. I’m one of 1% who own him.

🕵️♂️ SLEEPER AGENTS🕵️♂️
In this weekly post, @ask10inthebin and I analyse 4 players that no one is talking about, and why they should be standing out.
10 in the Bin: Simi Sasagi ($401k, 3%) appears to have won the right centre spot on merit over Timoko. Somewhat unsurprising given how vocal Ricky has been with his praise for him. Obviously there’s a risk Timoko returns to the starting lineup, but if injury strikes in the back row, Sasagi is also the next man up. With Dual 2RF/CTW, Sasagi has scored 72 and 84 in his opening 2 games with massive power stat performances. His draw really opens up until round 9 after the Bulldogs match.
SC Guns: Lachie Galvin ($555k, 1.9%) has shades of Adam Doueihi about his floor, but in a much better side. Obviously there’s no goal kicking, sure, but there’s a big workrate on him, and in an established side, with less controversy following him, and a full pre-season at the Dogs, Galvin could really take off this year. I hope he does
10 in the Bin: Sione Katoa ($547.6k, 1%) is a luxury trade of the highest order, but we are here to discuss PODs. Katoa has started the season with a try in each game, but more importantly is averaging 51pts in base+power (48 against the SuperCoach-killing Panthers). He has a mixed draw incoming with Dolphins, Raiders, Warriors, Roosters, Bye, then Cowboys in the next six rounds. If you have nailed your cheapies early, Katoa’s criminally underrated footwork and work rate could prove to yield super-mega-POD numbers.
SC Guns: Jaydn Su’a ($619k, 0.8%) has the highest base+power of not just any 2RF in the game, but 2nd of any player not named Damien Cook (more than 1 game played). 74.5ppg as a floor is ridiculous work, and maybe we should be on him ASAP. This is the sort of workrate people dream about seeing from their 2RF’s, and it’s coming in at an affordable price!

@nrlscchat No it’s not ridiculous because those 3 are more critical than the ones you have

So, who wants Bronson? 📝
If Xerri's time is coming to an end at Canterbury, there are several suitors that could be in the market for the gun centre.

Adam Reynolds has reportedly been ruled out of Round 3 - succumbing to the rib cartilage injury he suffered last week (via @MyMateDobbo)
Reynolds had trained well to start the week but rib cartilage issues are super painful & can linger for 3-4 weeks even in a best case scenario. Most effective treatment is avoiding aggravation (contact) - so the week off will help.
