I never read the books, but Tyrion is great on the Show. Leaving aside the last couple seasons where more or less every character gets ruined, at least to a degree, by the terrible writing, Tyrion's character is just awesome all the way through. He shouldn't be a monster, he should be the Lion with the heart of Gold that he is on the Show, that's a big part of what makes him so great!

Book Tyrion is fascinating because he’s bitter, hypocritical, cruel and slowly becoming the monster the world always treated him as.
That’s what makes the line “I wish I was the monster you think I am” so powerful.
It feels like the exact moment he starts giving up on being anything else.
Meanwhile Jaime’s story is the exact opposite:
a man everyone thinks is irredeemable slowly becoming more human.
They were supposed to be mirror images of each other.
One climbs toward redemption.
The other falls away from it.
And I honestly think the show lost something really important when it refused to let Tyrion truly descend

It's not really about Trump, it seems they've sold out for Middle Eastern money. There's a lot of it going around these days! Trump has done some positive stuff, primarily on the Border, but he's also failed in a lot of ways too, he's running up the debt massively, failing to win the war he started with Iran, prices continue to go sky high, including now gas prices, he's got a lot of work to do to fix these problems, some of which are obviously of his own making in the first place. Even if Tucker and company hadn't joined the Halal Right, which certainly was terrible, we'd still be in a lot of trouble come November, we need Trump to really step it up and get some of these problems fixed ASAP.

For the record I liked Massie for years. Tucker and others too. But my common sense forces me to be wary of those attempting to sabotage the mandate Trump was given in ‘24.

There are a couple reasons I could never make it out of Act 1. Every single NPC is insufferable. Karlach has a fine personality, but I'm not a muscle mommy guy. Every male character is eminently killable imo. Hell, I go out of my way to kill Gale.
Last character I tried was an elven necromancer. Worked for a while on a male character, but have up because if I am going to look like a woman no matter what, I might as well make my character an attractive woman.
The female elf necromancer got farther than most attempts before I got sick of seeing my party.

Nah, the biggest reason is Trump. Rural Kentucky is MAGA land. These people, like it or not, voted for the MAGA agenda. Trump told them that Massie is an obstacle to implementing the MAGA agenda, which is kinda true especially recently, so they voted against him.
Yes, Jewish people donated to the race. Apparently, Massie's largest donor (?) is Jewish. But the millions of dollars spent on the race wasn't even necessary.
The people heard Trump say vote out Massie, so they listened. They listened to Trump all over the country. All of his endorsed candidates won. It's very hard for a Republican to win if Trump doesn't like them. Especially harder if the candidate is outspoken against Trump.
I don't like it, but it's the truth.

The horrible Anakin/Padme romance really is the Prequels' cardinal sin. This romance HAS to work. We HAVE to believe that there's so much love between Anakin and Padme that Anakin will betray the Jedi and wreck the galaxy over it. But we never do. It never sells.

I should point out that this is actually pretty enjoyable. AOTC is the worst of the Prequels but Obi-Wan's parts are pretty good. Certainly not the catastrophe that the attempted romance between Anakin and Padme is.
