The issue I suspect most people have is that his trip to the World Cup is being 💯 paid for by the taxpayers. At the same time his own Party is mired by corruption and embezzlement. I genuinely can’t believe they don’t see how bad the optics are here.

John Swinney himself declared that he would not be "skiving off to the football" while Parliament was sitting. Now he has signed off two of his own ministers doing exactly that. The issue is not football. It is hypocrisy. One rule for everyone else. Another for the SNP. After nearly two decades of SNP government, Scotland faces challenges in our NHS, education system, economy and justice system. @GiftCee Fight them. Also beware of ‘solicitor/ legal’ form letters. They pay to use thier letter heads, so never call. Cross check the details on letter with actual registered address. I’ve got to court stage twice, both dropped. One was over 3yr period!

The British Parking Association Code of Practice requires operators to allow motorists a reasonable consideration period in which to enter a site, locate a parking space, review and understand the signage and contractual terms, and decide whether to remain or depart. A presence on site of only ten minutes is entirely consistent with a driver entering the location, considering the displayed terms and conditions, electing not to remain, and then leaving. Want to put a cap on that or do you want to raise taxes again? Why only football? What about the theatre, the cinema, Edinburgh Fringe and New Year do? Too many fans are being priced out of football. That’s why the @scottishgreens want to work with Scottish Premier League clubs to introduce a price cap of £25 for away fans. I’m calling on MSPs from every party to back a cap and work with clubs to make football more affordable.

Possible unpopular opinion… I honestly can’t get my head around people still booking all Inclusive or half board holidays these days. You’re away on holiday and you’re standing in a queue for Spaghetti with tomato sauce, chips that have been sitting there since breakfast and a wee jelly in a plastic cup 🤣 Everyone I talk to who does it tells me the same thing… “food was shite, we ended up eating out most nights anyway.” But for some reason it still seems to be going on 🤷‍♂️ Just get yourself to Bar 67 tonight instead for our fantastic Irish style bar menu, followed by a few ballads with The Lonesome Boatman.

Yanks are about to find out how smart (stupid) they really are.

FIFA block booked hotel rooms across the US to create artificial demand and drive up prices for football fans. They cancelled all the block bookings now. That's insane.

Must be some amount of construction going on cos that’s always the reason given
