1/ After many months of prayer & discernment, I announced on Sunday that I'm stepping down as pastor of @RedeemerES this summer to 1) dedicate this next season to training pastors & ministry leaders in NYC and 2) be more directly involved in ministering in underserved communities

Our hearts are broken over the news of little Ayden Wolfe. There is no making sense of it. So we mourn. We lament. We cry to God: why?

One of the absolute best things we've done as a church staff is having one team member take 20 mins each week to share three life events that have profoundly shaped them. Gospel saturated. Cross-cultural love. Permission to be imperfect.

It's not the pastor's job directly to lead a church that changes culture but to create culture-changing people.

We're continuing to monitor COVID-19 cases and consult health officials to see when we might begin to add in-person worship. We’ve made the decision to hold off on in-person services until at least February. Please pray with us as we navigate these decisions.
