I got pregnant in the first year of my PhD, gave birth and resumed it 3 months later, with a small sejour in a psychiatric hospital with postnatal psychosis. I was living in Sheffield then. I had to hire a nanny. My son would wake up at 5 AM. I would patiently wait for the nanny till 10, delegate my overactive, joyful son to her, then walk out of the house like a normal person, stop for a coffee at Starbucks, then go to ‘my’ room in the building designated for PhD students (I was the only one in sociology), sleep on the chair for an hour and then work on my PhD till 3 or 4, having the best time in my life before turning back into a mum. Those were genuinely some of the best years of my life.

@KhoaVuUmn Post-undergraduate, I worked in a lab at a well-known research hospital. Not only did they put us in the creepiest, dungeon like area, but they also decided to construct and extend the building, which took away all the sunlight coming into the room. That was my last straw.😂

If the perpetrators are known, they should be identified.

@nothheemmaa My case happened with @notkarlmarx42. But there are so many anonymous accounts doing the same thing. The general rule is don’t trust anyone. There is no goodness with anyone who shares private messages including explicit nude pics.
