@ReecePickens @PWestoff I am watching the indoctrination in real time: the world is doomed to destruction due to climate change, white populations are solely responsible for this and every other global evil, not having children is the sole responsible thing and sterilising yourself is stunning and brave

Australia must reindustrialise after the Iran war. It may be costly, but there is a greater price tag attached to the prospect of letting critical industries lapse and leaving the country vulnerable to global supply chain disruptions. Further, the private sector must given freedom of energy choice. Otherwise, we must not be surprised when investors take their capital elsewhere, just as BHP has demonstrated by snubbing their expansion plans in South Australia. Link to article in comments.

I’ve been on X since 2009. Back then, it was messy, yes, but open. A place where ideas could be tested, challenged, reshaped, and debated without the immediate expectation that you pick a side before you even spoke. Lately, I find myself in a quandary: do I stay, or is it time to go? Something has shifted, not in me, but around me. Parts of my feed have gravitated toward One Nation, and with that, a subtle but unmistakable change in tone. Support is fine, that’s democracy. But an expectation of alignment or else? That’s something else. Step outside the line, ask a question, and suddenly you’re on the outer. A few years back, I questioned why One Nation had voted with Labor to sink an LNP bill aimed at reforming IR laws. That question earned me a block from their leader. It was a small moment, but it revealed the larger point: in this space, asking questions even of those who state they stand for freedom and free speech can result in silencing. Whilst I don’t, and would never, tell people who they should support, I will point out why perhaps they shouldn’t. I’ll question policy. I’ll challenge capability. I’ll call out what doesn’t stack up. Not to be difficult, but to be honest. And more importantly true to myself. Increasingly, honesty feels less welcome. Conversations cool. Engagement fades. And that “persona non grata” feeling grows, without a word being spoken. I didn’t come to X to perform or to fall in step with a tribe. And I won’t be defined by the box people try to put me in. I came to engage, to think, to question, even with those I broadly align with. Because if ideas can’t withstand scrutiny from within, they won’t withstand it anywhere. I haven’t reached a conclusion. Not yet. I’m not a quitter, but I also know it’s smart to know when to walk away. So I sit with the question: do I stay and keep speaking as I always have, or accept that the space has changed, and perhaps it’s time to move on? And to focus more on broader engagement via my blogs and Substack. Whatever I decide, one thing is clear: I won’t trade independent thought for acceptance.

@TMFScottP @nortssss Those extra dollars have already been spent on fuel so the liquidity has already gone. The extra cost to the consumer must Push up inflation so I guess in the fantasy world we live in they'll want higher interest rates because of it.

@TMFScottP if taking half the fuel excise off is going to be inflationary, what would have happened if the Iran conflict didn’t kick off and fuel was still under $2? Would inflation have gone way higher?

@TMFScottP @nortssss How is a cut in excise not balanced by the extra cost of fuel other than it's a transfer from government revenue to fuel companies?

@wideawake_media Not sure about the hypothesis but the globalists seek the elimination of borders the homogenisation of peoples and the abolition of rights. People would be reduced to the position of peasants and slaves and their lives would be at the whim of the elites.

Neil Oliver: "The overarching project is... the destruction of 200 nation states... with the intention that eventually people have no faith in anything." "No faith in family... no faith in their nationality, their national heritage, their religion, their heads of state, their political parties, governance as they have understood it." "And then at that point, when all of that has been brought down... we would all find ourselves having been marched into, or having sleepwalked into, the digital cage." "The psychopathic, parasitic, so-called elite, are the most frightened people that have ever lived and breathed." "And in the manner of arachnophobes, who would stamp upon a tiny spider without thinking about it, simply because the very idea of a spider terrifies them, though it poses them no threat... they're terrified of their fellow human beings." "Ultimately, we're dealing with fear. And it's not our fear of them—it's their fear of us."

HIS FAMILY LEFT SPAIN IN 1492 This is Zaki El-Hadif. His family was expelled from Spain for being Jewish in 1492. They could have remained in Spain if they had abandoned their Judaism; instead, they chose to leave and moved to Rhodes. In 1742, his family moved to Tiberias with Rabbi Chaim Abulafia, and his grandfather, Rabbi Aharon El-Hadif, became the Chief Rabbi of Tiberias. Zaki studied Torah in the local Jewish school in Tiberias and grew up to be a successful businessman. In 1914, he worked hard to help Jews who were expelled from Tel Aviv by the Ottoman Empire, and in 1924, he became the mayor of Tiberias. In October 1938, after Arab rioters murdered 19 Jews in a pogrom against the Jewish residents of Tiberias, an attacker approached Zaki and murdered him at point-blank range. It didn't start on October 7th or in 1948. It started with Palestinian nationalism. May his memory be a blessing.

@ReecePickens @TheAliceSmith Like many institutions we need to push for change from within. Most churches have groups within were given time effort and enough people change can be encouraged. But people in the UK seem to have lost interest in anything that doesn’t involve a quick fix.

@burkylie12 @Boost_Samurai Truly talented people would be a threat to the parties they serve as they could rebel and serve the people. Its painfully obvious that most leaders in the west are not the top order of intellect or integrity.

Andrew Hastie has blasted President Trump for starting a war with no end date or clear strategic objective. Hastie, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, said voters needed reminding that One Nation is a strong supporter of the war against Iran, a point Pauline Hanson reaffirmed again on Wednesday. Hastie declined to support the war and opposed any suggestion that Australian personnel should be sent to help clean up the mess. “President Trump thought he could go in and win the war in a week. And right now, Iran has the world economy held to ransom." “I’m not going to send young Australians to die in a conflict that we don’t know an end state to, and there’s no clear strategic objective.”
