@rogernews71 @OctopusEnergy I have a solax inverter and use OG , I switched the inverter to charge only for the duration of the cheap rate , so OG will charge the car , power the house and only charge our home battery and the battery will not discharge during those hours

An example of @OctopusEnergy throttling the supply for the Go tarrif during the 5hr price reduction. In the house are 3 LED lights, a diffuser, devices charging or in standby, airer - 439W. The battery is drawing 645W which matches the app. The Solax Hybrid inverter can draw 3kW

This is refusal. They harass communities with lies, fear, and intimidation. You are simply declining their material and sending it back where it belongs. Quietly. Legally. Repeatedly. Let them pay for their own paper. Let them process their own rejection. Let the trail show people don’t want them. Refusal is powerful. Silence costs them more than shouting ever will. And watching their budgets bleed from returned mail while support drains away is far more satisfying than any gimmick. Some people suggest sending glitter and to make the parcel heavier and to send it back with writing on. I’m not responsible for that idea and I’m not endorsing it. What I am saying is simple. To be honest we had just had the hypervolt charger installed and I thought we’ve thrown enough money at it to be worrying about a 1p per kw price difference, so we just opted for OG

Rachel Reeves is asked about how the 3p a mile electric vehicle charge will work for new cars, when they don't have to have an MOT for 3 years. So who will monitor the mileage in order to calculate the tax owed during that period? Reeves doesn't know.

@MartinSLewis I understand the loss of fuel duty in relation to EV’s , but to add a tax to electric vehicles while supplying a discount grant to buy them seems a little strange, yet flying which is the most polluting form of transport has no additional taxation??

@MarkVogan Pembrokeshire, rained most of yesterday afternoon 2c , just after 6pm temperature dropped slightly had a few hours of snow, too wet to stick , quickly turned back to rain , heavy rain over night . Temp this morning about 10c dropped slightly, now around 8c and still raining
