I know from experience - it eventually breaks your brain. It takes a lot of unconscious mental energy to uphold projections on the world — in complete disregard for the information your eyes and ears are receiving. Eventually, the sheer amount of mental energy required to maintain this illusioned worldview becomes too much for a mind to handle. This causes a mental break that can go one of two directions - the painful purifying fire of realization, or the painful and chaotic path deeper into the illusion and suffering. Accepting you’ve been fooled, and vowing to open your mind to the truth — is the only way to move out of that fire and into purpose and order. It takes a lot of courage to change your mind.
