The 2024 Central Mess Dinner Night took place at The WO and Sgts’ Central Mess, marking the first event for RA Sgt Maj Lightfoot. As part of this, the Hanson Cup was awarded to Sgt McCollum, a well-deserved recognition of her selfless commitment to the Gunners. #FINDandSTRIKE





Last week the Arms and Services display event for Commissioning Course 243 took place. Regiments and Corps from across the British Army set up stands on Old College Square and the junior intake Officer Cadets visit each stand in turn. #RMAS #Sandhurst #BritishArmy #ArmyCareers

Last month saw the Royal Artillery formally bring in two new weapons systems: ARCHER and TAIPAN. The event was marked by a Colours Parade at Larkhill, with @1stRegiment_RHA, @ScottishGunners and 5th Regt RA on parade as the receiving regiments. #FINDandSTRIKE

This week a burial service took place for Serjeant John Smith and Gunner Charles Lightfoot. Both fell on 13 September 1914 and now lie in our care in Vendresse British Cemetery, France. ow.ly/yuTA50ShUTa RT @Danelleke13
