I joined @NHSGrampian as CEO 6 months ago. The improvement journey had already started and has continued throughout 25/26 with many signs of progress that are positively impacting patient and staff experience, whilst in no way shying away from the distance we still have to travel. I have been hugely impressed with the commitment and determination of staff across our organisation to work together, including with system partners to do the best for our patients and the communities we serve. In the coming days we’ll share more details summarising our 25/26 progress and set out our priorities for 26/27 which were approved by our Board last week, and which will allow us to build further on this year’s achievements. For now - thank you #TeamGrampian. It’s a privilege to lead this organisation. There is much to look forward to. I go into 26/27 with nothing other than optimism and positivity about what we can achieve by working together across @NHSGrampian, with our partners in the North-East of Scotland, sub-nationally in the East of Scotland and nationally. #ProudToBeNHSG
