@Reidbynature My criticism is less about the movie itself and more that it’s silly for the director to say it’s taking place in the same city, at the same time as RE2 and 3.

Doom 2005 suffers from the problem that a lot of 2000s movies have. The 1980s and 1990s were such a generational run of legendary films, that the merely pretty good or decent films which came out in the 2000s were savaged by audiences who were trained to expect better.
