@danielrpopper With Hortiz as GM, we've spent many of our picks on older players (over 23), despite having a stellar hit rate when taking players 22 years old or younger (Alt, McConkey, Still, Gadsden with Colson as only real miss). Do you think Hortiz undervalues age when evaluating prospects?

@tylerjschoon Can you not do this? Spoiling the picks (even in code) isn't cool.

@CotyWiless Thanks Cory, this is awesome! Do the testing numbers account for differences in electronic vs. hand timing? Obviously tough to do given inaccuracy of hand times, but feel like this skews down CIS and CFL combine guys as compared to those at US pro days.

My 2026 CFL Canadian Draft guide is here! You'll find athletic score cards composed from a database of testing results from Canadian prospects (including pro days) dating back to 2006. Size/speed player comps, stats, and much more background information are included as well! #CFL #CFLDraft tsn.ca/cfl/article/20…

@dpbrugler when prepping the Beast, can the table in which testing results for UDFA type prospects are displayed be amended to include the testing results for ranked players as well? Seems like the one before the rankings includes less info and nice to have it all in one place.

@GACPodcast17 Also helps the comp pick formula as compared to signing Linderbaum, McGoverns, Mays, Fortner, etc.

Is a really solid option in case they miss out on Tyler Linderbaum or Connor McGovern. Sign him + draft one in the first 4 rounds and the Chargers would be in much better shape at center.

#Chargers are hosting C Tyler Biadasz for a visit today, per sources. Biadasz spent the past two seasons with the Commanders. Washington cut Biadasz last week.

Sonny Styles' NFL Combine measurements: - 6'5", 244 pounds - 32 7/8" arms - 10" hands - 80 7/8" wing I know the phrase "we haven't seen this before" gets over-used sometimes, but fairly confident we've scarcely ever seen an LB prospect as good as this, built like this.

The Athletic has 3 interior offensive linemen with ties to the Chargers as potential cut candidates this offseason: - Packers IOL Elgton Jenkins. Butch Barry was on the Packers staff in 2020 - Lions IOL Graham Glasgow. Former Michigan Wolverine who played for Jim Harbaugh in his first season back in Ann Arbor. Glasgow also spent the 2022 season with Barry in Denver. - Broncos G Ben Powers. Former Ravens 2019 4th round pick.

@danielrpopper James Daniels an option for Chargers if healthy? Gotta assume McDaniels liked him pre-injury, he has played at a very high level, still young despite experience, and doesn't hit the comp pick formula. Feels like a great option for cheap!

@douglas03517065 @tylerjschoon Cap space rolls over. Unless there's a serious concern around potentially needing to cut/trade a guy and incurring dead cap there's no reason not to push money into the future (all things equal).

@tylerjschoon Hey Tyler, I’m confused when you have a large cap space why isn’t the contract front loaded when you know you have a lot of money. A lot of players are gonna get big contracts and later on down the road we will end up being cap. Space problems like other teams like Telesco put us

Teair Tart's new Chargers contract and cap hits each year, per source: 2026: $6.02M 2027: $11.98M 2028: $12M Base value of about $30 mil, up to $37 mil with incentives.

@StevenIHaglund None. Other than Gadsden (who was inexplicably stapled to the bench yesterday) and maybe Vidal (who had no chance yesterday), literally every player on that offence has under-produced based on expectations.

We can probably point to over a dozen players on the Chargers defense that the coaching staff is/has maximizing/ed to the absolute most of their abilities over the last two years. How many guys on the offense can you make that argument for?
