@Seanfrank You better have fantastic inventory distribution or a narrow sku count for multi node - soon as you start split shipping you lose any edge Brands at the top of that bell curve often do not

It’s a bell curve. When you are small, you do your own shipping. No one will touch a small account (10-50 orders a day) You do it yourself until you can’t handle it. 100, 200, 300 orders a day. Then you go 3PL. The multi nodes will get you faster and cheaper shipping Plus they will scale up for peak. But Walmart and Amazon do their own fulfillment. What have seen- Under 10m, do it yourself. 10m-30m start to switch to a 3pl As you get close to 500m, it starts to make sense to roll it back in

do you mean actually running a manufacturing plant? i think it really sucks we had people doing drugs in the bathroom, getting arrested by the fbi for being pedophiles, shitting on the floor and doing all sorts of other horrific things maybe some forms of high-skill manufacturing would be fun but the low-skill end is really not fun to manage
