@Seanfrank You better have fantastic inventory distribution or a narrow sku count for multi node - soon as you start split shipping you lose any edge
Brands at the top of that bell curve often do not
English

It’s a bell curve.
When you are small, you do your own shipping.
No one will touch a small account (10-50 orders a day)
You do it yourself until you can’t handle it. 100, 200, 300 orders a day.
Then you go 3PL.
The multi nodes will get you faster and cheaper shipping
Plus they will scale up for peak.
But Walmart and Amazon do their own fulfillment.
What have seen-
Under 10m, do it yourself.
10m-30m start to switch to a 3pl
As you get close to 500m, it starts to make sense to roll it back in

Someone asked me why I hate 3pls (warehouses that ship your products for you). They are expensive, fuck up a lot, and will lose your inventory. At high volume there are huge money to be saved from diy At low volume it’s true too because you can put them all in your garage and figure out a way to do it part time Your shipping is part of your product so design it well from packaging to the carrier Hard to when you outsource Depends on who you are I like logistics so I like having this part of business vertically integrated

@JamesonCamp @supabase @resend @WisprFlow @stanleybystan @canva @X All kinds of shortcuts but clipboard history and snippets are my go tos.
/freight = all the info we need to book
/shopify = template message requesting collab code etc
Saves so much typing time

@Reinfish @supabase @resend @WisprFlow @stanleybystan @canva @X What is it? I'll have to look into it

@ChadCarleton @JohnHolbein1 Lmaoooo the fucking worst company of all time
English

@rabahrahil 🤣 I thought you censored a picture of the Beef Wellington and every part of me needed to see that picture
English

@EDunion @ianyount_ @JosiahAndrewLo1 Does it measure dims or just detect the carrier and route it to the right truck/gaylord?
English

@MehtabKarta @nickywonka @ChadCarleton “Why did I pay for this infill if you’re not even gonna use it!?!?”
English

@Reinfish @nickywonka Yeah @ChadCarleton was saying you need to switch to doing meth in the office instead of the bathroom
English

@rabahrahil Put a Gauss cannon on this mf its very close to a warthog
English

do you mean actually running a manufacturing plant? i think it really sucks
we had people doing drugs in the bathroom, getting arrested by the fbi for being pedophiles, shitting on the floor and doing all sorts of other horrific things
maybe some forms of high-skill manufacturing would be fun but the low-skill end is really not fun to manage
