@brfcrover1 @mitfoid I’ve noticed this. It started off in petrol stations, now they’re everywhere. I don’t understand how it makes sense to have someone that can barely speak English behind a counter in England over somebody that is English. You’d assume they’re paying less, but these are big brands.

Because foreigners are stealing low skilled jobs that we need to move up in this horrible society.

As a former teacher it is fantastic to see 2,300 more teachers entering secondary and specialist schools at a time of demand. Primary School roll numbers (NFER) projected to decrease by approximately 4.5% (205,000 pupils) to 2028 as a result of demographic cycles.

Despite a few pundits trying to link vacancy levels to government policy the reality is the elephant in the room is the war in the Middle East; and it’s impacting the global economy. A war this government chose not to engage offensively in.

After a week of Westminster at far from its best it’s great to be home. An inspiring ambulance ride along, meetings with businesses, and an evening debating it all at my surgery. It can be an exhausting job at times, but it’s impossible not to be energised representing our area
