This is biblical. A woman in her eighties. Ten years into Alzheimer's. Hadn't spoken a full sentence in five years. Takes one, 5 gram dose of psilocybin. She slept 19 hours and woke up and spoke for hours about her life, recognized family and held real conversations. She regained bladder control after five years, walked on her own. and dressed herself. Gains held for weeks.

Shame that this Fauci hearing is just a charade for Senators to build their social media and campaign video reels. Call me naive, but I was looking forward to questions and answers about Covid's origin, hoping we'd learn something about what killed more than one million Americans.

@bobby_buildings That's not true at all. They can live in NY and own multiple properties. Certainly many live in Westchester and other places, but I'm certain that a large % life in NYC and own several homes.

Call me woke or whatever, but I don't think it's even vaguely reasonable to expect the literal mayor of NYC to be prohibited from attending a 9/11 memorial just because a handful of folks affected by it grew up to be malignant racists.

I've stopped using them in the US. There's only one instance that I can imagine which is if I want to get a house for my family of 10 for a summer or winter family get away. I've heard that you can also do research on AirBNB or VRBO to find a property, then back track via Google to find the property owner / manager, then make a deal with them directly and bypass AirBNB all together. My experience with VRBO in Italy was completely different. Much more positive. No hidden fees, no crazy clean up fees.

Airbnb is going to go bankrupt. No one's going to keep paying twice as much to stay in an apartment for two days when they can spend half that on a hotel with a pool, gym, room service, free breakfast and daily housekeeping.
