Saw a few fields like this on Hwy 136 on way to McCook,NE. Prevent plant? I was surprised how decent the dryland fields look yet, but it’s going to continue to get tougher on it. Staying hot and windy as it is. Everything underwater looks good #CattCropTour26

West-central Missouri corn is already denting. My estimate is 192 bpa, while the farmer believes it has 200+. Either way, it’s shaping up to be an impressive crop.

On the urea market, the bulls are "enjoying" renewed closure of the strait. The bears are "enjoying" china relaxing their export program (more exports should happen). Bulls appear to be winning...for today.

Current thinking is that the Kerch Strait is closed through the weekend with the hopes of reopening it early next week. #Wheat prices sharply higher on this risk factor, with #corn and #soybeans followers. USDA report later today. #oatt

Just a refresh on the current #corn/#fertilizer ratios. Urea and UAN both look significantly improved, but are still high vs recent years. Phosphate continues to remain near all-time high's. Potash keeps lingering on the high side of the normal range. Not great.

@ArlanFF101 The yield was what I always said it was 183-184…….This is why we shouldn’t have any surveyed reports on production or acres. Use RMA data in September for acres and RMA data in May for yield. Let the market be a market.

You thought that USDA's old-crop #corn feed & residual was statistically impossibly high? USDA increased another 150 million bushels to 6.350 billion bushels. Will it reverse that with a drop in last year's crop size on September 30? #oatt

July Tampa NH3 price falling helped production costs, but if you cannot find enough sulfur, it doesn't matter. Global phosphate demand destruction is immense, but supplies are in bad enough shape it doesn't matter. If prices fall more, production will fall more.

According to google, half the world's tradeable sulfur supply comes from the Strait of Hormuz. Sulfur is one of the 2 biggest variable cost inputs for phosphate production. So it should come as no surprise that Mosaic is having to curtail more production for lack of sulfur.
