@krishnaeyee Using this soap daily was considered rich.
English

@nsarathc This could be true. Everyone has their own kind of financial product range.
I used to use Samsung pay. Which was much cleaner and no spam at all. Just on device payments app.
But i agree, BHIM is a no nonsense app.
English

@RenollFernandes Whenever I transact with PhonePe, I start getting innumerable spam calls from various entities often engaged in the same business category I made the payment to. Then I report the spam calls to TRAI DND, the inflow reduces. It looked to me that PhonePe sells data.

@kaush16733 @InvestRepeat These retail guys are the ones who would fight back when someone says Index funds are enough.
They are too naive to be with a volatile asset like crypto.
They won't understand it, won't appreciate it but once they lose money. They'll find the one who recommended it.
English

@kaush16733 @InvestRepeat Treating Crypto as an asset class itself is risky. It's not a store of value or it's not an asset that appreciates because of the underlying.
I believe it's a greater fool theory.
Recommending this to retain investor isn't a good idea.
English

You have just received your salary.
Don't forget:
⚡️ Save 'minimum' 30-40% of it.
⚡️ Don't leave all of it in Savings account or FD.
⚡️ Invest in yourself first (Courses, Study Materials, gym etc.)
⚡️ Invest most of that savings as per your asset allocation in mutual funds, gold, bitcoin etc.
Be financially disciplined in this new financial year.

@nsarathc Almost 70% of my work is done by AI. Using it to make it better is now my role.
Eventually I'll be replaced, but I'm in a two wheeler manufacturing company so they'll not and I'll be bored before that.
English

@nsarathc I'm making another prediction. Especially in mid-tier roles.
Eventually it's going to cost a lot more for AI to do it than some humans from third world countries.
Energy cost, cost of managing and eventually they'll just hire some of them back.
English

@BullMarkets1 Any particular reason to buy these stocks from the same index?
There's a lot of duplications. Isn't it?
English

@ramamoorthy_h @contliving How its like ordering a pizza.
So fast and effortless.
English

@contliving They do exist.
I know who's investing in Franklin Prima from the mid 90s. The fund house was called Kothari Pioneer then. Not as SIP. But investing regularly every month.
Those who were investing 20 years ago know the hassles of setting up SIP every year.

@VerdeSelvans It was worse when it launched.
Also S25FE has just 400mah more. I'm sure going forward maybe in 1 or 2 years it would be horrible.
English

@RenollFernandes Exynos 2200 + 4500 mAh — the battery life has been terrible since day one, so I’m not even surprised.
English

After using the Galaxy S25 FE as my main phone for about 48 hours, I can finally see why so many people still love Samsung phones, even if the hardware isn’t always the best (like the cameras or battery).
The overall experience is just really good. I have 0 regrets getting this S25 FE. For now, Samsung is definitely my favorite Android brand.

Why is Earth tilted at exactly 23.5 degrees?
It is a permanent scar from a 4.5 billion yr old collision. A Mars-sized planet named Theia slammed into Earth. The impact was so violent it knocked Earth off its vertical axis & blasted enough debris into space to form the Moon.
W/o the Moon acting as a gravitational anchor, Earth’s tilt would wobble wildly from 0 to 85 degrees.
If we did not have that 23.5 degrees tilt locked in by the Moon, the seasons would be chaotic. 1 year the poles would melt completely; the next, the equator would freeze. The 23.5 degrees tilt is the stability sode for life.
Dreams N Science@dreamsNscience
Ever wonder why we have seasons? It's not because Earth gets closer or farther from the Sun—it's all thanks to our planet's 23.5° axial tilt! As Earth orbits the Sun, this steady tilt means different hemispheres get more direct sunlight at different times of the year. 🎥ESA

A $2.5 billion robot has been alone on another planet for 13 years and is still doing science. The scale of that sentence gets worse the longer you think about it.
Curiosity landed in August 2012. Obama was president. Instagram had 80 million users. The iPhone 5 hadn’t shipped yet. The rover was designed for a two-year mission and 20 kilometers of driving. It’s now driven 35.5 kilometers, climbed over 327 meters up the side of a mountain, drilled 46 holes into Martian rock, and is currently running its fifth mission extension.
The computer running all of this has 256 MB of RAM and a 200 MHz processor. Your AirPods have more computing power. Every command sent from Earth takes 14 minutes to arrive. Every photo sent back takes the same 14 minutes. When Curiosity drills into a rock, the team in Pasadena won’t know if it worked for half an hour. They’ve been operating on that delay, every single day, for 4,846 Martian sols.
The power source is 10.6 pounds of plutonium-238 generating about 110 watts. Less than a ceiling fan. It will keep producing electricity for decades because the half-life of Pu-238 is 87.7 years. The rover will run out of moving parts before it runs out of power.
And those wheels. Machined from single blocks of aluminum, 0.75 millimeters thick. Half a dime. JPL watched them get shredded by Martian rock starting in 2013, rerouted the entire mission path, taught the rover to drive backwards, and kept going. The wheels look like they lost a fight with a can opener. The rover is still climbing a mountain.
Every iPhone you’ve owned since 2012 is in a landfill. Curiosity is on Mars, 140 million miles from the nearest repair shop, running on a ceiling fan’s worth of nuclear power, sending data through a 14-minute time delay, on shredded wheels, doing geology that rewrites what we know about whether life ever existed somewhere other than Earth.
We built that. With 0.01% of the federal budget.

@abhishekcode42 Absolute middle seat or nothing. Not worth spending so much for a crappy experience.

@aakancvedi I've seen BMTC bus drivers watching reels and driving those EV buses like it's some F1 car.
It's dangerous and they are afraid of no one.
If you complain, they'll fight with you.
English

was in an auto the other day and the driver kept watching short videos while driving
not occasionally watching, this dude was locked in busy scrolling and not really paying attention to the road
at one point, a truck ahead of us started reversing, he didn’t notice and i had to scream Anna nodi munde, he braked at the last second
I told him, calmly, please don’t watch videos while driving, and not just with me, even when you’re alon, he agreed
but 5 minutes later, he was back at it again
you can see in the video, he knows i’m recording him, he tries to block it with his shoulder, but still doesn’t stop watching clips
I’m not even mad at him, I could see he is clearly addicted to it, he’s not really at fault, i don’t know who is at fault
and there are so many people who do this everyday, scrolling through reels while driving
and it’s dangerous, even if you are careful there is always a chance someone else on the road is glued to their phone and they dont pay attention
