As Psalm 33:12 reminds us, blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Last night I joined colleagues on the House Floor to recognize the National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving.

I was honored to speak on the House Floor last night for the Special Order in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Continental Congress’ role in establishing a “National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving.” As we celebrate America’s 250th, and look towards our Nation’s future, we must rededicate ourselves to the foundation of faith that has sustained us.

From a young boy in Baytown, Texas to the U.S. House floor representing the Show Me State—humbled to speak on faith, gratitude, & the strength of one nation under God. As we approach the National Jubilee of Prayer, I’m reminded: America’s best days are still ahead…if we seek Him. 🇺🇸✝️

As we recognize the National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving, we are reminded that prayer, gratitude, and faith have long been woven into the foundation of our nation. Join me in praying for a revival of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving across our nation.

Rep. Roy during his Sharia-Free America hearing highlights how both LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration have contributed to the spread of Islam and the influence of Sharia in the U.S. "Sharia based legal institutions have taken root in American communities, and nowhere is this problem worse than in my home state of Texas, fueled by decades of an unsecured border and expansionist LEGAL immigration policies."

President Trump announced that on May 17 we are rededicating America as one nation under God. Rededicate 250 is a national jubilee of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Get your FREE tickets today 🇺🇸

"The E15 bill isn't a mandate." No, it's the *expansion* of a mandate. The ethanol mandate requires more ethanol than we can use. The Clean Air Act (CAA) serves as a check on it. So do Small Refinery Exemptions (SREs). Loosening the CAA and reducing SREs expands the mandate.

Exclusive: Tonight at 8 p.m., @RepBrecheen and @SpeakerJohnson will lead @HouseGOP members on the chamber floor for a public declaration of faith, celebrating prayer, praise, and thanksgiving as Washington prepares to rededicate America as “One Nation Under God.” @Freedom250 @DailySignal

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former United States Congressman Bill Posey, who passed away yesterday surrounded by the love of his family. Bill dedicated his life to serving the people of Florida and our nation with integrity, humility, and an unwavering commitment to public service. His passing marks the end of a remarkable career that spanned decades of leadership at the local, state, and federal levels. He approached public office not as a path to personal recognition, but as a solemn responsibility to serve others honorably, faithfully, and effectively. His legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched, the communities he strengthened, and the values he championed throughout his years of service. Those who knew Bill personally understood that beyond the titles and accomplishments was a kind, grounded, and deeply loyal man who loved his family above all else. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and childhood sweetheart, Katie, and their two daughters, Cathi and Pamela. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Posey family, his friends, former staff members, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. May they find comfort in the extraordinary impact of his life and service. Congressman Posey represented Florida in the United States House of Representatives from 2009 to 2025, following distinguished service in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate. Throughout his career, he earned a reputation as a principled conservative, a steadfast advocate for fiscal responsibility and government transparency, and a tireless supporter of America’s space program and the communities he proudly represented along Florida’s Space Coast. Bill Posey will be remembered with gratitude, admiration, and profound respect. His dedication to public service, his love for Florida, and his steadfast belief in the promise of America will never be forgotten.

President Trump surprised workers at one of Washington’s most iconic landmarks. He visited the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to check on renovations tied to @Freedom250 and thanked crews for the hard work going into the restoration project.
