“Faith isn’t just something you practice on Sunday morning. It’s woven into the fabric of who we are; it shapes how we raise our children, how we care for our neighbors, and, yes, how we govern. And if you look at the history of this great nation, that’s exactly how our Founders intended it to be.” Thank you, @RepHarshbarger!
Rep. Diana Harshbarger@RepHarshbarger

As Psalm 33:12 reminds us, blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Last night I joined colleagues on the House Floor to recognize the National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving.

I firmly believe that we must take all Constitutional measures possible to keep criminals off our streets. That said, HR 6260 expanded the federal government’s purview past what our Founders intended, according to Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, which outlines the 18 Enumerated Powers and the limitations of Congress. Moreover, the 10th Amendment states that “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively.” As bail procedures are not listed as a delegated power of Congress, bail reform is left up to the states.

It was an honor to have @RepMarkAlford speak during our Special Order on Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving! “From the very beginning, in times of war and uncertainty, division and hardship, our leaders have called this nation to its knees before God…generation after generation of Americans have humbled themselves before their Creator and prayed for the future of this blessed land.”
Rep. Mark Alford@RepMarkAlford

From a young boy in Baytown, Texas to the U.S. House floor representing the Show Me State—humbled to speak on faith, gratitude, & the strength of one nation under God. As we approach the National Jubilee of Prayer, I’m reminded: America’s best days are still ahead…if we seek Him. 🇺🇸✝️

Powerful words from @RepMarkHarrisNC! “Let us pray for an end to political violence in our nation…Let us pray for peace in the Middle East. Let us pray for our President and for my colleagues in the House and Senate, regardless of political party. And let us pray for revival of prayer, thanksgiving, and praise across this nation. May the Lord continue to do his good work through this nation, for without His guidance, we are lost.”
Rep. Mark Harris@RepMarkHarrisNC

As we recognize the National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving, we are reminded that prayer, gratitude, and faith have long been woven into the foundation of our nation. Join me in praying for a revival of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving across our nation.

Thank you to @DavidBartonWB, @TimDavidBarton, and the WallBuilders team for helping us compile information for our Special Order on the National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving! I would like to also thank @SpeakerJohnson, VAT Chairman @Robert_Aderholt, and each of my colleagues who took time out of their busy days to bring attention to the importance of rededicating our nation unto the Lord and calling for national prayer and repentance. Why I oppose the E15 bill and support fuel freedom: ➡️The E15 bill permanently expands the ethanol mandate. (Applies it to smaller refineries and loosens air quality rules that limit the mandate’s reach.) ➡️The E15 bill raises gasoline prices a lot long-term 1) cripples small refiners and lowers competition 2) we have to pay for expensive ethanol credits 3) we have to pay for ethanol when it’s more expensive than gasoline ➡️The E15 bill does nothing to lower gasoline prices short-term. (Admin has already allowed E-15 this year.) Congress should vote against this E15 bill and replace it with a fuel freedom bill: allow all ethanol blends in exchange for no ethanol mandate.
Alex Epstein@AlexEpstein

"The E15 bill isn't a mandate." No, it's the *expansion* of a mandate. The ethanol mandate requires more ethanol than we can use. The Clean Air Act (CAA) serves as a check on it. So do Small Refinery Exemptions (SREs). Loosening the CAA and reducing SREs expands the mandate.

May the Lord’s peace be with the family and friends of Former Representative Bill Posey, who passed away yesterday. Rep. Posey was a founding member of @freedomcaucus and will be missed!
Congressman Mike Haridopolos@RepHaridopolos

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former United States Congressman Bill Posey, who passed away yesterday surrounded by the love of his family. Bill dedicated his life to serving the people of Florida and our nation with integrity, humility, and an unwavering commitment to public service. His passing marks the end of a remarkable career that spanned decades of leadership at the local, state, and federal levels. He approached public office not as a path to personal recognition, but as a solemn responsibility to serve others honorably, faithfully, and effectively. His legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched, the communities he strengthened, and the values he championed throughout his years of service. Those who knew Bill personally understood that beyond the titles and accomplishments was a kind, grounded, and deeply loyal man who loved his family above all else. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and childhood sweetheart, Katie, and their two daughters, Cathi and Pamela. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Posey family, his friends, former staff members, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. May they find comfort in the extraordinary impact of his life and service. Congressman Posey represented Florida in the United States House of Representatives from 2009 to 2025, following distinguished service in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate. Throughout his career, he earned a reputation as a principled conservative, a steadfast advocate for fiscal responsibility and government transparency, and a tireless supporter of America’s space program and the communities he proudly represented along Florida’s Space Coast. Bill Posey will be remembered with gratitude, admiration, and profound respect. His dedication to public service, his love for Florida, and his steadfast belief in the promise of America will never be forgotten.

Grateful to all those Oklahomans working from 7 am to 7 pm (and even seven days a week) to refurbish our nation’s reflecting pool as we kick start our 250th anniversary. So great to see the great people of Atoka, Oklahoma, and the surrounding areas showing the nation a more efficient use of taxpayer monies!! Under @POTUS’s leadership, this project is costing $1.8 million, as opposed to the $38 million spent by the Obama Administration, described as a “construction disaster” that “leaked immediately upon completion.”
Fox News@FoxNews

President Trump surprised workers at one of Washington’s most iconic landmarks. He visited the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to check on renovations tied to @Freedom250 and thanked crews for the hard work going into the restoration project.

.@RepChipRoy and @RepScottPerry are spot on. We must prevent the expansion of E15!! “Without reforms to the underlying rule, the E15 expansion entrenches a hidden gas tax, drives up food and fuel prices, slashes vehicle efficiency, threatens refining jobs, and undermines American energy dominance. Republicans who champion free markets and affordable energy must oppose it.” thehill.com/opinion/energy…
