@RadioFreeTom @UtahVeterans My husband Bob Moss left Weber College to enlist in the Marines and spent two years fighting in the Korean War. He was not “woke,” he was a patriot who loved his country and chose to serve.

This is, even for him, amazingly stupid and an insult to the thousands who died in Korea and Vietnam and the other conflicts we were too "wokey" to win. But then, can't expect any better from a man who thinks American war dead are "suckers" and "losers."

@scottielvrutah I am very concerned about Utahns who will lose health insurance, children without adequate food, cuts to public education. Nursing homes with residents on Medicaid may close, and rural hospitals, too.Many of us made phone calls, emailed, and texted Curtis and Lee, to no avail.

Violence doesn’t just harm individuals—it erodes trust in our democracy and tears at the values that hold this country together. Sue and I are praying for the victims and their loved ones. Moments like this demand that we rise above division and recommit to respectful discourse.
