As a nation, we must stand together and condemn this heinous act of violence that undermines our democracy. We are grateful that former President Trump was not seriously injured and thank Secret Service and first responders for their rapid and brave response.

Rather than waiting until Jan/Feb, let’s serve the people of Pennsylvania and the Nation by working on bipartisan appropriations legislation right now. No need for a shutdown, and no need to kick the can that far down the road.
