Keeping our communities safe starts with giving law enforcement the information they need—when they need it. I was proud to speak in support of my bipartisan ELO Realignment and Strategic Engagement Reform Act, which improves coordination between federal, state, and local agencies, strengthens intelligence-sharing, and helps ensure law enforcement can respond to threats faster. This marks the 7th bill I’ve passed through the House. It now heads to the Senate for consideration. 🇺🇸

This week, the House passed @repgabeevans’ “ELO Realignment and Strategic Engagement Reform Act” to enhance law enforcement coordination and streamline DHS engagement with state & local partners: “From my own experience, I know that state and local law enforcement often face national and international threats. Terrorists, cartels, cyberattacks, foreign enemy regimes…This bill ensures that state and local agencies can easily and frequently access the resources they require.”

As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we have a responsibility to ensure every dollar collected through the Passenger Security Fee is used for its intended purpose: keeping Americans safe. I was proud to speak in support of the bipartisan SAFEGUARDS Act, legislation I helped introduce to invest in modern screening technology, strengthen airport security, and better protect the millions of Americans who travel each year.

Colorado’s meat industry supports tens of thousands of jobs and is our state’s largest agricultural sector. That’s why I fought for the Working Families Tax Cuts—to help job creators grow, invest, and keep more of what they earn. I’ll always stand with Colorado’s ranchers, producers, and meat processors. 🇺🇸

I’ve spent months meeting with small business owners across #CO08, and I keep hearing the same thing: @GovofCO’s growing taxes, fees, regulations, and mandates are making it harder to hire workers, expand, and keep costs down. While @HouseGOP passed the Working Families Tax Cuts to help small businesses grow and create jobs, Denver democrats continue to make it harder to do business in Colorado. Our job creators deserve leaders who will get government out of the way—not make it harder to achieve the American Dream. I’ll keep fighting for Colorado’s small businesses, the families they support, and the communities they strengthen. 🇺🇸

I had a great discussion dairy farmers from in #CO08. They made one thing clear: excessive state regulations are making it harder to farm in CO. @housegop is working to deliver relief through tax cuts, a stronger Farm Bill, and commonsense immigration reforms that support our agricultural workforce. I'll keep fighting for Colorado agriculture.

For months, I've heard the same thing from small business owners across #CO08: "It's getting harder to do business in Colorado." Higher taxes. More fees. More mandates. More red tape. I took those concerns directly to @GovofCO, urging him to ease the burdens his administration has placed on Colorado job creators. I work for the people of Colorado—not the bureaucracy. When small businesses speak, I listen. And when I hear the same concerns over and over again, I take action.

I had a great time visiting with the residents at Inglenook Retirement Community. Hearing directly from Colorado seniors helps me better represent our community in Congress. I'm proud the Working Families Tax Cuts delivered additional tax relief for seniors, helping many keep more of their hard-earned retirement income. Another major win for American manufacturing. 🇺🇸 Apple is investing $30 billion to manufacture chips here in the United States—including expanding production in Fort Collins, Colorado. More American jobs. Stronger supply chains. Greater economic and national security. That's what happens when we invest in America first.

Colorado continues to face devastating wildfires, with the Aspen Acres Fire now among the largest in our state's history. Please continue praying for the families who have lost loved ones, those forced to evacuate, and the communities facing unimaginable loss. I'm grateful Colorado has received FEMA assistance to support these response efforts, and I'll continue working to ensure our communities have every federal resource they need during recovery. Thank you to every firefighter, law enforcement officer, National Guard member, and first responder working around the clock to protect Colorado. We are forever grateful for your courage and sacrifice.

When hardworking Coloradans do everything right, they shouldn't lose their jobs because of government delays. After hearing directly from constituents across Colorado's Eighth District, I led a congressional effort urging DHS and USCIS to expedite DACA renewal and work authorization processing for legally authorized workers who filed their renewal applications on time but remain stuck in months-long backlogs. My office has already helped multiple constituents receive long-overdue approvals, and I'll keep fighting until every hardworking family gets the answers they deserve.

I fight for Colorado's farmers and ranchers because I know firsthand that agriculture isn't a 9-to-5 job. Tonight, one of our bull calves found a hole in the fence and wandered into the neighbor's pasture. After a late-night roundup, he made it safely back home. It's hard work, but it's a way of life I'm proud to be part of—and one I'll always fight to protect.
