This whole situation at O'Hare International Airport just shows how these airline turf wars are getting out of hand and now regular travelers are the ones paying for it.

I mourn the young Jewish couple who were violently killed last night. Antisemitism and hatred have no place in our society, nor in our politics. Politicians and activists must never accept hate or use hateful rhetoric that could lead to a tragedy like this.

Yesterday I was able to show support for my friend Cook County Board President @ToniPreckwinkle. It was a fantastic reminder of how important strong local leadership is for pushing positive change! It was great seeing Commissioner @CommissionerFr2Frank as well!

Last month I was part of an Illinois Latino roundtable hosted by Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez. It was great hearing from so many well-respected leaders in the Latino community, I am so happy that my grandson was available to share his personal insights with all of us!

My favorite part of my recent trip to Mexico was meeting all the kinda people who went out of their way to say hello and reflect on what my work in Congress meant to them and their families. Thank you to Leticia, Ray, Victor, and the Francisco family for being so friendly!

During my recent trip to Mexico City for the Mexican general election I met up with Representative Norma Hernandez and Senator Celina Villanueva. I was so happy to celebrate our neighbor's democracy with other elected officials from Illinois!
