Congratulations @King4Worcester on being nominated for this year's Black Excellence on the Hill Awards. Last Friday, Khrystian joined 300+ people at the State House to close out Black History Month & celebrate the diversity that makes our state so strong. Thank you, Councilor!

When a person is trying to stabilize their life, gov't shouldn't stand in the way. Without an ID, people can't: - Apply for a job or housing - Enroll in college - Open a bank account For these reasons, I’ll continue to support measures that promote fairness for all.

As is tradition, I hosted the annual @MAHomeless lobby day. Alongside tireless advocates, service providers, and community leaders, I spoke about the importance of programs that serve homeless residents and the need for a “Homeless ID” bill.

Postpartum depression affects 1 in 8 mothers — yet many suffer in silence. Today, I spoke to raise awareness about the condition & heard powerful stories from moms with lived experience. Alongside @MassPPDFund, i’ll continue to support legislation that helps families.

For 30 years, @DPC_MA has uplifted persons with disabilities through policy. Today, I had the opportunity to speak at about my wheelchair repair bill at their annual legislative briefing. Wheelchair users shouldn't have to wait for basic repairs - it's time we passed H.4358.

On Friday, I attended the annual legislative breakfast @Quinsig. From first-generation students to those who are working and studying at the same time, QCC students are proof that Fair Share-funded free community college is opening doors and expanding opportunities.

@RepMcGovern was on top of his game this morning at office hours in Sterling. I'm proud to call Jim a friend, and I'm grateful that Worcester & West Boylston have such fearless representation in DC. Thank you to @Meg4StateRep for welcoming me to the 12th Worcester.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

New York's passage of medical aid in dying ensures dignity at the end of life. In Massachusetts, I’ve filed a bill with even stronger protections for individuals and families facing unimaginable circumstances. Thank you to all the advocates in NY for their hard work.

In what is now a yearly tradition, I met with political science students from @BrandeisU to discuss ‘Raise the Age’. I am inspired that these young people are interested in a bill that impacts so many of their peers — and I’m confident in our next generation of civic leaders.

Honored to be at Friendly House’s Legislative Breakfast in Worcester. We ought to be doubling down on support for education, housing, nutrition assistance, and social services in this country. It’s become fashionable and popular in Washington to beat up on those who are struggling to get ahead, but organizations like Friendly House show us a different way forward. Thank you for all you do.

As the federal government carelessly slashes programs, Massachusetts is funding school aid increases, free community college, free school meals, and improvements to the MBTA. Fair Share is working to invest in a stronger, more equitable future for all our residents.

Organizations like Friendly House provide essential services to thousands of residents in Worcester. That’s why I joined @RepMcGovern & others today to discuss how we can empower families amidst federal turmoil. I will continue this discussion w/ partners across my district.

Despite the cold, it was great to be in Worcester today to mark the 250th anniversary of Henry Knox’s Noble Train of Artillery. Our city played a critical role in Knox’s endeavor, and I enjoyed reflecting on that revolutionary history with our community. Thank you @REV250BOS!

Thank you to @EastersealsMA & other partners for hosting the 20th Annual Central Mass roundtable yesterday. Due to federal funding cuts that elderly & disabled individuals are facing, it’s up to us here in MA to fight for their protection on Beacon Hill.
