Mori also wants Levine (and I think) Cerio off board But former Spkr @RepJoseOliva wasn’t having it. Rumor is @GovRonDeSantis Office has threatened to not reappoint Oliva in Dec. /2

If you need proof that the @RonDeSantis era is quickly coming to an end, look at what just happened at SUS Board of Governors meeting where Alan Levine was named Chairman and Tim Cerio named Vice Chair. /1

The Florida House Leadership has thus far failed to pass a budget, launched attacks on the Governor’s immigration reform, higher Ed reform, and tort reform, and they obstructed condo reform. Having failed in their attacks, they've now turned to lawfare coordinated with liberal media against Hope Florida. They will fail there as well. For shame!

Our colleges and universities must educate, not indoctrinate. We have brought accountability to our higher education system, fought the woke, and returned the focus to the classic mission of universities. Republicans in the Florida House are trying to roll back this progress, give a lifeline to the political left, and pave the way for the re-wokification of Florida's higher education system. HB 1321 should be nicknamed the "Make Universities Woke Again" Act because it would remove the accountability that is required to prevent our colleges and universities from reverting to a focus on indoctrination.

Beware of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. If you claim to be a conservative and all you have done is support overriding spending cuts and obstruct the efforts of the country’s most conservative governor, you have nothing to be proud of. Do not cloak yourself in the work of others to shield your malice.

Governor DeSantis isn’t being honest with Floridians about the TRUMP Act. The Governor’s proposal leaves out large portions of what the Trump Administration wants to get the job done and end the national scourge of broken borders. Facts matter and the facts are clear: the TRUMP Act puts the President in full control, armed with all the tools needed to execute the most aggressive illegal immigration crackdown in our nation’s history. The TRUMP Act delivers the harshest penalties in the nation for illegal aliens, criminal gangs, and terrorists - including an automatic death sentence for capital offense like murder and the rape of a child. The Governor doesn’t support these harsh penalties - the TRUMP Act makes criminal illegals pay the price.

“Chevron” ruling by scotus returns burden of governing to elected officials who have lazily delegated their authority for decades. Write unambiguous laws! You have been elected to represent not to delegate.

In Florida, we had schools open during COVID. I was pilloried by the media, but I stood for our kids. As president, I will always stand for you and your kids.

It saddens me to see Andrew Huberman's Wikipedia page attacked in a politically-motivated way to remove most of his scientific accomplishments and to add misleading statements like: "Huberman appeared on programs that frequently platform health misinformation". This is a dishonest misrepresentation of a legit scientist and one of the best communicators of science in the world. @hubermanlab deserves to be celebrated not slandered. He is a truly special human being, who is doing an invaluable service for the world.

The New York Times actually has the nerve to support calls for genocide! If ever there was a time to cancel that publication, it is now. You can read their articles for free anyway using removepaywall.com.

I don’t know of another elected leader who can speak as intelligently on the issues and who has accomplished as much as they have promised [on as many fronts] as @RonDeSantis. The resume matters.

We’ve had a generation of kids go to college and end up deep into debt with little to show for it. The Left’s solution is to force taxpayers to pay off this debt. Here’s a better solution: Make the colleges and universities foot the bill. And let student loans be dischargeable in bankruptcy.

@RepJoseOliva Our founders would be proud, with many of them willing to debate for days on issues that helped establish who we are as a nation. Also important is that George Mason stood against the constitution until they got behind the Bill of Rights. Standing on principles matters.

We ask our elected leaders to rise and affect change and when they do we call it dysfunctional and embarrassing. I find it refreshing and the founders would have found it ordinary and necessary. Whatever the outcome, this is healthy.
