Veteran suicide rates are up for both men and women. They’re also elevated for those aged 18 to 34. These are our fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters. We must do more to help them.

Every eight days, a spouse of a veteran takes his or her life. They are suffering greatly in our nation — and we must do everything we can to help them.

The six fallen warriors represent the very best of America, giving everything in service to our country. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Freedom is never free. May God bless them, their families, and the United States of America. 🇺🇸

Devastating news out of Austin. We are praying for the victims and the families of this heinous attack. I am closely following the incoming reports and will provide updates as we learn more. Let me be clear: any act of violence or domestic terrorism must be condemned and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We will not tolerate violence in the United States.

Scott Ruskan was awarded the Legion of Merit by @POTUS. He helped rescue 165 people during the Kerrville floods last year. Texas will forever be grateful for his lifesaving efforts.

The first year of the second Trump Administration has brought back what makes America great — a secure border, a strong military, and a resilient economy. Tonight, President Trump rightfully touted these accomplishments and laid the foundation for the next three years and beyond. I look forward to building on the progress @HouseGOP has made and continuing to partner with @POTUS on real policies that lift up our veterans, communities, and fellow Americans.

Mexico: Update - Due to ongoing security operations & related road blockages & criminal activity, U.S. citizens in a number of locations in Mexico are urged to shelter in place, as U.S. government staff in several locations are doing and will continue to do on Feb 23. While no airports have been closed, roadblocks have impacted airline operations- most domestic & int’l flights are cancelled in Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta.
