The attack on a synagogue in Michigan and the shooting targeting an ROTC class in Virginia are deeply disturbing reminders of the threats we face because of such hatred. Praying for the victims and grateful for the brave security personnel, students, and first responders who stepped in to stop further tragedy.

Yesterday in the @WaysandMeansGOP hearing, I raised my bipartisan Tax Court Improvement Act with @RepTerriSewell directly to the IRS CEO—legislation that modernizes the U.S. Tax Court and helps ensure tax disputes are resolved more efficiently for the American taxpayer. Bringing greater clarity and efficiency to the process helps deliver better outcomes for taxpayers and strengthens trust in our tax system.
