Enough is enough. Rep. Adam Smith and his family were targeted with threats, harassment, and vandalism by anti-Israel activists. This is not peaceful protest, it is intimidation. Americans have the right to debate and disagree, but no one should be threatened or targeted because of it. Political violence and harassment have no place in our country. Those responsible must be held accountable.

Wildfire smoke is affecting air quality across Wisconsin. I encourage everyone to monitor local air quality and take precautions as needed. If the air quality is poor where you are, consider limiting time outdoors, keeping windows closed, and following guidance from health officials - especially if you have a medical condition that could be made worse by smoke. A quarter of U.S. physicians graduated from a foreign medical school, making strong accreditation standards essential. @RepGrothman's H.R. 9605, Less Bureaucracy, Better Foreign Medical Accreditation Act, transfers oversight of foreign medical school accreditation to the Department of Health and Human Services, where medical experts can apply consistent standards and help ensure future physicians receive the training patients deserve. Less bureaucracy. Better oversight. Better patient care.

It’s simple: medical education should be overseen by America’s leading medical agency. @RepGrothman’s bill will transfer foreign medical school accreditation to @HHSGov to ensure our healthcare experts can maintain the same rigorous standards to have high-quality physicians in America.
