Thank you to Deputy Mayor Sam from Creekside Middle School for delivering my report to council. His favorite class is civics, which is perfect! He got to meet two school leaders from our sister city, Kawachinagano, Japan who are establishing a sister school relationship with University High School. He also was able to see State Representative Victoria Garcia Wilburn and State Representative Danny Lopez present an official State of Indiana recognition of Carmel’s 50th anniversary as a city.

We need to do all we can to make sure that this does not happen to one more Hoosier child or family. To do that, we must give law enforcement all the possible tools in the toolbox to stop predators and rescue children in unsafe situations. I'm thankful that the Fishers delegation has come together in unity to update our Amber Alert system and honor Hailey's life.
