Just watched the mechanical arm of the recycling truck reach out and punch the full recycle bin, sending it crashing to the sidewalk. The arm goes through the motions of dumping nothing into the back of the truck (the arm is empty obv). We still need humans. @RepublicService

@RepublicService Hi Republic. This was my most recent bill. It's been bad for a while (see previous payment), but we're a busy family so we just didn't have time to fight about it until now. When I quoted this bill to the WastePro and White Oak guys in my area, they were confused and thought this was a yearly fee. This is a quarter. They both offered me a figure around $100 per quarter. Nearly 1/5 of Republic! I asked my neighbors with Republic cans what they get charged. Not a single one gave me a number even half as high as this - not one even went above 160! I then went online and asked the same question in local groups, and wouldn't you know it, no one who responded in the ENTIRE COUNTY - whether with Republic or its competitors - is paying half as much as this for 2 cans and 1 recycling. And that makes sense, because Republic's depot for their trucks is just 3 miles from my house. The landfill they take this trash to is 2.5 miles from my house - in the same direction as the depot! From what I've seen, you have fairly fuel efficient trucks as far as trash collection services go, so it defies belief that you could charge $500 for 13 round trips of 5 miles, especially given the efficiency of you servicing hundreds of other people in the same route. You might notice this bill was due yesterday. It's not that I just now noticed. It's because that's how long I've been talking to my neighbors and arguing with Republic. You see, you guys keep insisting I call you, and then the person on the phone keeps refusing to lower this bill but instead will lower the NEXT bill, and that's simply unacceptable. Frankly, now that I know how little my neighbors are paying in comparison, I'm kind of miffed that I didn't have time to complain about this sooner. I'm not sure a lower bill is enough. At this point maybe I want a refund.

@RepublicService I can give you the address of my landlord. But not sure which one. The main one in Farmington Hills mi, the one in grand blanc or the one in a different state (Main Office).

@RepublicService this is a letter we all received in the mail. I think that my community is very shady. You charge them less and they charge us more to make more $$$. You should cut ties with them. They keep raising the trash service fee. When it started it was like $12.

I’m losing my fucking shit. I ordered a dumpster to be delivered to my house today and it didn’t show up, then I notice a dumpster in the driveway 2 houses down from mine…. How fucking stupid does someone have to be to not know how to deliver something to the correct house??

Damn @RepublicService charging me for service I don't even have. I got a bill despite them taking my bins away. This isn't some late thing, it's a brand new bill for a new billing period long AFTER they took my bins away. So why am I being charged? What service have you provided?

Then you should come get it for me🤨. The city and the other private firm offer the service, and @RepublicService used to, but just stopped. Grrrrrrrrr

My 3-month waste removal bill from @RepublicService hit my email yesterday. Like most people we have it on auto pay. I opened it up. Number seemed high. In go find the prior 3-month bill from January. They raised my bill 49%. Every line item up at least 25%.

@RepublicService Overages for a piece of trash 1 in above the dumpster and criminal level renewal windows. RS will give you a short period to send them a non-renewal letter and then lock you in for 3 more years of hell for non-compliance.🤮 Awful awful company. Absolute trash.

@RepublicService do better with your customers. Missed day two weeks in a row so had late pick up. Then they only empty half my can and tell me they can’t come back till my regular day next week. So where am I supposed to put my garbage when I run out of room??
