Las Vegas Saturday night was PACKED. I originally planned to check out Planet Hollywood, but there was some sort of black-tie event and the place was absolutely jammed. People were dressed to the nines, and there was no chance I was getting in. So I kept walking through Paris and the rest of the Strip to see what the night looked like. Here’s my observation… Whether Las Vegas is “up” or “down” depends on what you’re measuring. Yes, recent reports show visitor numbers are lower than last year. But remember, those comparisons are against Las Vegas’ own record-setting numbers, not against some struggling tourist destination. Standing on the Strip last night, none of that was obvious. There were crowds everywhere, traffic, long lines, restaurants full, and the energy felt like the Vegas so many of us remember. Does that mean every casino is breaking records? No. Does it mean every hotel is full? Probably not. But from street level, there was definitely a party going on. Maybe Vegas is rebuilding. Maybe tourists are spending differently. Maybe the city is changing. But if you had walked the Strip with me last night, I think you’d agree there was plenty of life out there. What do you think? Is Las Vegas “dead”… or are the headlines missing part of the story?

Nobody talks about how we're all paying $15 for sandwiches now and just pretending that's normal. Five years ago that same sandwich was $8. The price doubled and the only explanation we got was "supply chain issues" which apparently means "forever."

So I go into @GMC dealership today fully prepared to purchase this truck. Finance guy comes back and says “we’re sorry we can’t offer you the 1.9% rate unless we remove all of the discounts” Ummmmm…. That’s not what your website says, here look. Oh we know, it’s confusing I know. You can have the rebates but the interest rate will be 5.99% @GMC advertising false offers is not cool.
