Before you cut your toothpaste pack, make sure you have used most of it; So that a useful percentage don't end up getting dry after cutting. This is how I do mine. -Roll the pack, sqeeze, and cover after use. Don't cut the toothpaste tube until you can no longer squeeze out any paste.

Sometimes when I walk long distances, my legs itch like mad and only stop itching seconds after I stop walking or sit down. It also happens when I enter okada. It's sooo uncomfortable. I asked Google and they said it's Exercise-Induced Pruritus. Ikegwuru.

So in KG 1, my daughter won most creative pupil ; I was proud of her. I mean it’s kg 1 and hey! My baby got awarded! Wawu!!! In KG 2, she won best in creative arts and best hand writing and my reaction, even though I didn’t say it to her was “people are winning best in numeracy , phonics , your own is creative arts”. I was not happy , I won’t lie! I made her repeat KG 2 for personal reasons and at the end of the academic year , she won the same two awards again! Grade 1 came and she still won best in creative arts and best handwriting awards. In my head , I was like sey people that are winning best in Matjs , English and other subjects have 2 heads???? Ewo ni handwriting and creative arts ??🙄🙄 On Wednesday, we had the yearly award programme which I was invited for again and I honestly hoped she won something “major” and not creative arts but she won best in creative arts again in Grade 2!!!! …The moment her name was called , I clapped so loud for the first time! I decided to appreciate the genius I have . My future Picasso!!!! My creative girl!!!! I felt so bad that I’ve looked down on the awards she got for years because it’s not Maths, English or the social sciences subjects. Her consistency of winning the same award for 5 years didn’t matter to me! I just wanted the “main” subjects like our parents 😩😩😩 That has changed anyways! I’m going to support the creative genius I have in my house with everything I have! I’ll register here for art school (Oh! She loves drawing so much!) and help her strengthen her skill! Lauryn is soooo artistic! Drop anything here and she has made something out of it! Her brain and hands are blessed when it comes to creativity!!! I was looking for something else instead of celebrating my baby’s strength.🥹 Dear mummies and daddies , everyone can’t be maths geniuses! Some of our kids are blessed with other gifts! Let’s appreciate and celebrate them! ❤️

IELTS was 75k, CBt was 60k that was all she needed to do, Nhs even refunded those fees for nurses that paid to do it themselves then. Are you saying that was all his hospital was worth 135k. Visa, flight accomodations for the first three month was provided by the trust, even stipends.its those of you that ain't nurses wh didn't know how relocation was so easy for us then he can bulldoze, he sold his hospital to sponsor his flight and visa because he couldn't pass the exams and had to go as his dependant. Ask him to tell you the exact date he finally got registered with NMC.

The unwritten rules of surviving a Nigerian teaching hospital as a patient. Nobody hands you this list, so I wrote it. 1. Go with someone. One person can’t be the patient, caregiver, pharmacist, cashier, porter and advocate at the same time. 2. Keep cash and transfers ready. At some point, a card machine may stop working or you’ll be sent to pay for something unexpectedly. 3. Bring snacks and water. Hospital time moves differently. You may wait hours even with a genuine emergency. 4. Label every result and receipt. Assume you’ll be asked for it again. 5. Ask questions. If you don’t understand why a test or drug is being ordered, ask. A good doctor won’t mind explaining. 6. Respect the nurses. They know more about what happens on the ward than almost anyone else, and they can make your stay much smoother. 7. Morning is your friend. Investigations, reviews and discharges tend to move faster earlier in the day. 8. Don’t mistake a busy doctor for an uncaring one. Many are juggling dozens of patients, teaching students and handling emergencies all at once. 9. If something changes, speak up. New chest pain, worsening breathlessness, confusion or bleeding should never be silently endured. 10. Be kind. The system is often overstretched. Kindness won’t fix it, but it makes difficult days a little easier for everyone. Nigerian teaching hospitals are full of brilliant people working in difficult conditions. Knowing how the system works won’t cure diseases but it can make the journey a little less overwhelming.
