Elden Ring is at a minimum 40x more “deliberate” and “methodical” than Dark Souls 1, but since it’s also faster paced people will call it “20 second crackhead boss combo spam” because their feeble weak minds cannot keep up

I love how this entire conversation is all about boss fight slop because the moment you talk about level design (99% of the game) Elden ring instantly gets evaporated to dust.

I have no issue with someone saying they're a fan of the story, characters, location, lore, etc of Resident Evil.
However, if you're going to say you're a fan of a game (an interactive medium) I think it's fair to suggest that the barrier to entry is playing the game.

@Cliff8161 @cherylmasonsh3 I said it elsewhere but Capcom *thinking* that DRM makes it harder to pirate their games does not make it so. And IIRC they have some policy on their website that says modding their games is expressly illegal and tantamount to piracy. I don’t think it’s enforced though.

Why re-release them on Steam with DRM on Steam, why would 20 - 30 year old games need DRM, that wouldn’t prevent privacy so there is literally no logic behind this and should have not included DRM.

I loved season 1 so much because yeah it’s fantasy and yeah it’s politics but it’s also a detective story and unfortunately that’s gone after episode 9
