🔐𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗢𝗫𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗗𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗨𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘⁣ ⁣ This is a dirty little secret most people in the detox world don’t want to talk about. Because it cuts into their bottom line of selling you some crap miracle supplement that isn’t going to do anything for you.⁣ ⁣ 👀𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙏𝙍𝙎, 𝙯𝙚𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙚, 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖, 𝙘𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖, 𝙀𝘿𝙏𝘼, 𝘿𝙈𝙎𝙊, 𝙚𝙩𝙘.⁣ ⁣ To truly detoxify and eliminate heavy metals you must be well nourished. Period. This is non-negotiable.⁣ ⁣ Now, many people get confused on what being well nourished means. But let’s simplify it here.⁣ ⁣ Being well nourished means, you get all the essential nutrients in sufficient quantities.⁣ ⁣ So, there are two parts to the above statement.⁣ ⁣ 1. You get all the essential nutrients⁣ 2. In sufficient quantities⁣ ⁣ The first part of that statement is self-explanatory, but even still, it doesn’t seem to prevent people from doing extreme diets like vegan or carnivore, which are both lacking in their own sets of nutrients. But, as a disclaimer so people don’t get all sensitive about me offending whatever diet they choose to do, carnivore is definitely a superior option to veganism. ANYWAY.⁣ ⁣ Getting all the nutrients you need can also be hampered by the terrible soil quality nowadays, along with a few other things as well, stress, alcohol use, rx drugs, etc. This will be covered in a full post coming in a few days.⁣ ⁣ That’s the first part. Get all the nutrients that are required by your body.⁣ ⁣ The second part of this statement gets a little more tricky, because sufficiency of all these nutrients is debatable based on many mitigating factors.⁣ ⁣ But the basic idea is that there is some minimal threshold for obtaining each individual nutrient that protects you against basic deficiency disease states. That is what the RDA’s are trying to achieve.⁣ ⁣ For our purposes, however, just preventing deficiency disease states is the beginning of what we can do with nutrient therapy.⁣ ⁣ Since most people who come to us are already ill, they require much more of these nutrients than what is recommended in the RDA’s. “Sufficient quantity,” then becomes something different for those already in disease states.⁣ ⁣ Usually, their disease state is a result of having subclinical deficiencies for long periods of time anyway.⁣ ⁣ A third, and arguably even more important variable, crops up when thinking about how to be well-nourished.⁣ ⁣ And this is the idea that not only do you need sufficient quantities of each individual essential nutrient 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 to truly restore optimal health.⁣ ⁣ This is the main focus of the work we do here at Nutritional Analytics.⁣ ⁣ By understanding the way all the nutrients interact and affect each other we can use supplements in an extremely strategic way to balance certain mineral levels and ratios on a hair tissue mineral analysis.⁣ ⁣ This balancing process we’re engaging in, enhances cellular energy efficiency and is the main trigger we use to detoxify your heavy metals.⁣ ⁣ When we combine these three elements of being well nourished what you get is this new framework:⁣ ⁣ 𝟭. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨⁣ 𝟮. 𝙄𝙣 𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮⁣ 𝟯. 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧⁣ ⁣ If your practitioner doesn’t mention all three of these elements you will not detoxify your heavy metals.⁣ ⁣ I don’t care what fancy chelating agent they use (chelation doesn’t work and makes people worse btw), I don’t care what blue-green algae they’re using, or anything else.⁣ ⁣ These three criteria need to be met to really get some work done on you heavy metal burden.⁣

𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙑𝙔 𝙈𝙀𝙏𝘼𝙇𝙎 𝘼𝙎 𝘼 𝙂𝙇𝙊𝘽𝘼𝙇 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝘽𝙇𝙀𝙈⁣ ⁣ In this clip with Christy Bridges, PhD we talk about the global nature of the heavy metal problem. And how metals being spewed into the air in Africa (and other regions) make their way into the air and then can deposit anywhere else in the world.⁣ ⁣ So, not only does local exposure to metals matter through all the various means that one can be exposed to metals.⁣ ⁣ But a hidden and unrecognized way that metals get into our environment and move around the world is through various industrial processes in the developing world.⁣ ⁣ Specifically, Africa seems to be a very big problem in the last 20-30 years for metals being spewed into the air via mining, use of lead in gasoline and other processes as well.⁣ ⁣ If we hope to curb our exposure to metals, exposures have to be tackled on a global scale because of the way that metals can be aerosolized and then moved around all over the world through the atmosphere.⁣ ⁣ In Africa and, other nations that are just now developing, there are no controls on the use of lead in gasoline, for instance.⁣ ⁣ Mining for Gold is also a huge practice in certain African countries, but again there are zero controls on the way in which this mining is carried out and this can lead to tons of mercury being not only deposited locally in the environments over there but then it’s also spewed into the air and moved all over the globe.⁣ ⁣ China and India are notoriously bad for their coal fired power plants not having scrubbers on them so they too also spew large amounts of aluminum and mercury into the air where they are then moved around all over the world, including here are home in the US.⁣ ⁣ If we want to get into a true environmental and health crisis we will continue to focus on global warming and not the real problem at hand, which is metals being spewed into the atmosphere in 50 different ways, contaminating every nook and cranny of the global ecosystem and food chains that we all rely on.⁣ ⁣ Stay woke! ⁣

You’d never put a cell tower in your baby’s room.. but what if you already did? …a wireless baby monitor placed at 1 meter from the crib can expose the baby to the SAME LEVEL of RF radiation as if there were a cell tower 50–100 meters away..

Adam Lane Smith | The Attachment Specialist
New research indicates that fathers build bonds best with their children (and craft secure attachment in them) by "destablizing the child" in a "safe environment. Fathers in the study had a unique ability to make their children laugh and therefore create more perceived safety for the child which led to stronger attachment. Mothers made children feel safe too, usually with repetition and soothing, but the laughing and playing did not make the children as attached as it did when fathers performed it. Several things jump out from this at me: First, a father who is relaxed enough to laugh and play indicates a safe environment. Fathers are biologically the providers of safety, so if dad is relaxed, the world must truly be safe. Children may be picking up on this. Second, being worthy of a father's time and attention is a huge marker for kids. A father's attention may actually mean more in many cases, as we've seen in other studies. The bond with mom is equally as important, but sometimes the bond with mom is taken for granted, where the bond with dad is taken as remarkable due to perceived other demands on his time. What this means: Dads, you've got to be playing with your kids. As silly and disruptive as possible. They need this from you. It's one of the strongest ways they can bond to you. More about the research: psypost.org/laughter-plays…

Everything is a trade off. People are avoiding seafood because of heavy metals, MPs, etc., but are ignoring the benefits. DHA is bioavailable in the brain from seafood, not supplements. Beneficial minerals counter some of the heavy metals. MPs are highest in air and water.

@DrKristieLeong Using iodized salt is like a bandaid. Fixing the diet to include more food with iodine is a better solution. Personally, I eat seafood, dairy and I sprinkle granulated kelp on my food.

Hidden health sneak attack: The processed food boom has quietly STRIPPED iodine from our diets! Most table salt in packaged snacks & meals? Not iodized. Once-iodized bread? Often no longer fortified. That trendy Himalayan pink or kosher salt? Zero added iodine. Result? Millions unknowingly risk deficiency → thyroid issues, fatigue, even brain fog. Check your saltshaker . Are you getting enough? #IodineDeficiency #ProcessedFoods

My paper, Iron: an underrated factor in aging, is in the top 50 of Altmetric scores for all papers published in the journal Aging. Also in the top 5% of any journal article. Altmetric measure media attention, so it helps when you can publicize the paper yourself, like I did.

WAIT, WHAT.......LIGHT THROUGH WINDOWS GIVE YOU MELANOMA AND NOT DIRECT SUNLIGHT? There is a secret fact your dermatologist doesn't want you to know. A paradox exists between indoor and outdoor workers because indoor workers get three to nine times less solar UV light (290–400 nm) exposure than outdoor workers get, yet only indoor workers have an increasing incidence of MELANOMA. So there is something about being indoors that increases your risk of getting melanoma. Artificial light, especially at night, is one of those things that increase risk but.... This paper shows that increased UVA light exposure and decreased Vitamin D levels can also increase your risk for melanoma. What increases UVA and decreases Vitamin D? Most windows. Depending on the coatings and how they are made, most windows will increase the relative amount of UVA light and block most of the UVB light which will decrease the amount of Vitamin D you can make if you are living and working indoors during the day. SO its not really the sun that causes the cancer but manmade artificial lights and/or an artificial spectrum of sunlight (artificial because it has been altered by something manmade (the windows). If you do work indoors a lot during the day, make sure to take multiple sun breaks outside or at the very least OPEN a window.

Cattle ranchers need our help!
Santa Carota Beef@SantaCarotaBeef

This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to share. We are not the kind of people who like to ask for help. We have always believed in putting our heads down, working hard, trusting God, and doing everything we can to carry the weight ourselves. But there comes a point where the truth is bigger than pride, and our customers, followers, supporters, and everyone deserves to know what is really happening. Right now, we are in a legal battle with a major meat processor. And while this fight has our name on it, it is much bigger than our family alone. Small producers, family ranchers, and farmers spend generations building something they are proud of, only to come up against an industry that too often protects power over people, profit over principle, and control over transparency. The effects do not stop with the people raising the food. They reach every person purchasing meat because corruption and lack of transparency in the beef industry affect the food system as a whole and the trust families place in what they buy and feed their loved ones. This fight has cost us deeply. Between personal health struggles and the weight of this battle, we have had to make sacrifices we never wanted to make. We have had to cut back on our restaurants and e-commerce. We have sold cattle to help pay attorney fees. We have carried stress, heartbreak, and pressure that, at times, have felt impossible to explain. But we are still here, and we are still fighting. We are fighting for our family, for our ranch, for the values we were raised on, and for every small rancher and farmer who has ever felt crushed under a system that was never built to protect them. So today, we are asking for help. If you believe in family ranches, quality food, hard work, and a more transparent, healthy, and clean food system, please stand with us. One of the best ways you can support us right now is by purchasing our beef at santacarota.com. We started a GoFundMe for those who want to be part of something bigger than our family alone.
